4g max, 12gb data and 12 months BT sport. I called asking to leave as I saw BTs 15gb for £23 a month with 100 Amazon gift card. They couldn't match 15 gb for the 14.67 but offered 13.99 a month. Saves having to convert the gift voucher to cash

I'd like to know the details of how you went about getting this deal, pushed for it? Or was it offered to you? My two lines are up for renewal around November.....

Retentions are not deals as they are not available to anyone else

So all the sky retention deals that keep getting put in here are not deals?

Correct

In your humble opinion :sunglasses: . Retention deals are a deal for those who are looking for a good deal with their existing provider. Of course if you know of a more appropriate place with equal membership/profile as hot uk deals, pray do tell

I am on EE deal contract runs out in March so to me this is a deal ! Just because it doesn't suit you doesn't mean it's not a deal as can be seen from various others it is a deal to them, have some heat Op Haters gonna hate

Why not take the 30gb for 15 on Jan 8th your only overlapping 2 months
harrerdarren to pengwyn
26 Sep 17#26
Because it's a long time until March so things change quickly I bought the p10 lite cpw deal so don't need a handset . I only have 5 GB data right now but never use it all so 30 would be pointless

With EE now, on a £30 month for 4GB Data + unlimited TXT/Calls with S6 64GB, that I got around black Friday 2 Years ago, so was going to see what deals are available black Friday this year, had a few TXT from EE recently about trade in deals for £200 for an S8, but my S6 is still good, so not sure If worth going to S8, doesn't seem such a big leap of technology for the money, so might go Sim Only and see what EE offer.
Has anyone been able to switch to a deal like this before they entered the last month of their contract with EE? as I am due to give notice 8th November when I have 30 Days left, so still got 6 weeks to go.

Recently moved to bt mobile 20gb unlimited minutes and texts for £16 with £100 amazon voucher and £60 Quidco cashback. EE did not offer anything except £19.80 for 20gb package which was available to a new customer (just 20p discount) although I was with t-mobile and ee for 10 years. If loyalty pays nothing then better you move to a different provider.
OP got a decent deal anyways.

The bt sport app is good for me. I mirror it to my tv from my phone so its basically like getting bt sports for free.

i got the BT deal 18 months ago with the gift card + quidco. Still on it (20Gb, unlimited mi/text for £16 p/m.)
Worth noting that BT don't increase prices every year in line with inflation whereas EE , and most of the other operators will increase by a couple of quid or so every year around March/April.

EE will match all BT deals but not the gift card.

I called EE about the same deal that 3(three) did, and they matched it and gave me it for £13.99 With BT Sport included (which I would use very much) Is there a better Mobile Network out there?

EE will price match any tariff by a penny. That deal is the same as 3 12GB contract. I recently got the 30GB tariff for £17.99

Interesting. I'm due to give 30 days notice to EE and am in the market for a SIMO deal. three are doing a 12gb for £14 deal, but that's with Go Binge so good for my Netflix streaming. Anyone have any strong opinions or advice on one network/deal over the other?

It’s a hit and miss with who the advisor is. They seem to try and price match other companies now. There has been another deal on here unlimited mins and text and 30gb for £17, this was to match a 3 offer.

Thanks, I'm due to call them tomorrow as I'm now out of contact but don't want a new phone. This is the kind of deal in after so will help my case.
