I'll give this deal heat for the effort and that the tickets are cheap, but what is the point of this if the anticipated films are excluded?

For me, my daughter goes back to school on Wednesday, today was the only day I could take her and it would have cost me £18.25 in the south-east and we wanted to see a film that wasn't on any of the exclusion. So we got in for £15 and I still have one voucher left I might use Monday for Dunkirk seeing as no-one else in my family wants to see it, so works out as a bargain for me.

We watched IT on 22nd September (great film made my missus jump a few times haha)....... but when we went to book online it said code invalid.
Anyway if this happens to you just pop into Odeon and a supervisor overrides it and we got to see IT on a Friday night for £10 (saved us a tenner!) at the new Bournemouth Odeon which is lush!
Thanks Op

Personally, if Odeon is your local cinema of choice, and you are considering this? Then the limitless deal for £17.99 a month(outside of central london) is a better deal. No restriction as above, can be used for any 2D screening as many times as you want in a month. You just have to ask yourself if you think you will get £17.99 worth of viewings a month? I have had limitless for over 18 months now, and sadly, being a bit of a movie geek know exactly how many times I have used limitless. I have more than got my £17.99 a months worth! Unless of course, you plan on taking 3 people to the same screening. But then Odeon do cheap mondays, all 2d screenings are greatly reduced(example - american made this coming monday is £3.50 in my local Odeon!)
Other cinemas, like Cineworld do their own version called unlimited.
Both offer discounts on food/drink etc as well as other perks. Every little helps!

Just be aware, the minimum term for limitless is 12 months. I've been tempted by this many times, but been put off by the minimum term. If it was 3 or maybe 6 months I'd sign up and try it out.
Oneday77 to Tsung
1 Sep 17#15
The thing is what is there to try out? It not like you can't try the Cinema beforehand. All you need to decide is if you will go to the cinema on average twice a month or more. If so you're quids in. Lesser terms would probably cost more as people would buy for Summer and Christmas releases then stop.

27 Sep 17#56
Unfortunately not, it is a minimum 12 month term. I spoke to staff in my local odeon last night, who said they have been made aware by customers that if there was a trial, to give this a go they feel it would be abused. Much like how people create new accounts for free google play for 3 months, or free amazon prime. I can see their point too.

I have meerkat movies and my local odeon is only £4 per ticket and they do accept the meerkat codes so cost £4 for 2 to watch a movie. There's no restrictions at my odeon too, yours might be the same. Mine is abit run down so I do t know if that's why all tickets are £4 there. Upgrades are extra like imax 3D ect

Just go on a Monday night when it is cheaper anyway. £5 or less for all 2D screenings, which makes it better than this deal if like American Made you get one at £3.50(as is the case this Monday in my local odeon)

There was a TV show on a while ago that explained the pricing variations - basically, like so many things, they charge as much as they can get away with. So don't go when it's too dear or you don't have a voucher, and always shop around locally if you have a choice of venue.

Exactly the same for me - tried for War of the Planet of the Apes and whatever combination I try to add seats or tickets, it doesn't accept the code. Oh well, I'll try using the mobile app when I turn up for the film.
**EDIT** Actually, just got them to work. Instructions aren't very clear but when you receive the Groupon code which will be something like XXXXXXXXX1-XXXXXXXXX2-XXXXXXXXX3, I was trying to put the whole thing in as a voucher. It's not. Each dash separates each ticket code, so XXXXXXXXX1 is one code for one ticket, then enter XXXXXXXXX2 for the second ticket and so on.
