How is it a marketing post? I've tried to find the cheapest price around for the toys that are predicted to be the top selling this Christmas, after the nightmare I had last year with trying to get hold of Hatchimals & a few years ago with the hideous hamster things, I know what it's like to be constantly searching for something my kids desperately want, by putting this post together I am hoping that I can help & that people will help each other find items in stock at decent prices.

"I want that" has been shouted at the TV when the Paw Patrol boat has been on and this inspired me to look at it. £70? Take a look at it, it's a plastic boat - looks like everyone is joining the comedy RRP club Lego started. It's almost as if the toy firms have paid the press to include their toys in "top toys for xmas lists" and put silly prices on them because folk see the list and MUST HAVE it. What is going on? It's a crappy little plastic boat, sets like this would have been £35 a couple of years ago.
To make matters worse the boat isn't even designed to go in the bath! - NOT A WATER TOY...urr it's a boat.

Normally around now but I have asked in a few branches of Argos but no one has any idea. Rumour had it that as Sainsbury have taken over Argos that they won't be running one - or at least they ran one in July but the usual one in Sept and one in Nov might not happen. Most of the managers reckon there will be another one "before Xmas". Helpful. I know.

Its exactly what happened with the NES Classic.
It was priced at £129.99 on the shelf when hubby got one on Sunday but it was £109 at the till. I’ll keep you posted. Stock is disappearing so I’m hopeful it’s got both offers applied
