I think eBay is getting less generous with these offers. The previous one I saw was for a £3 final value fee, and now this one is for 5 listings only.
The greedy gits. I'm sure they're not short of cash, and the site pretty much runs itself.

My account didn't get any of the previous FVF offers. I just checked and mine is actually showing an offer for 1p max FVF for 100 listings on 20-21st Sep.
Seems there's a few different offers going about!

Same here: "Unfortunately, this promotional offer is by invitation only." How does the invitation work? Is it eBay or other eBayers who invite?

it's Ebay who decide - not sure how they decide to offer the cheap FVF offers but I am pretty active on my a/c and still often get them - conversely (compared to some) when I am on hols and have stopped all lisstings, I often DON'T get any offers

Never sold on Ebay. can someone explain how this deal works as opposed to how normally selling via ebay works in terms of charges? please
bex85 to EN1GMA
21 Sep 17#45
Normally ebay charge you 10% off the final value fee (and if your postage isn’t free, 10% off that as well. So sell a £20 item, £2 fee, sell £100 item, £10 fee. By activating this offer, you’ll only pay a maximum of £1. Although if your postage isn’t free, they’ll still take 10% from that, so I just list buy it now items with postage factored into the price. And of course, regardless of whether you have this offer or not, you’ll also still have your standard Paypal fees (3.4% + 20p).
luvsadealdealdeal to EN1GMA
21 Sep 17#46
and to add: you must only list one item per listing - if you list multiples, you won't get the offer
there are ways round this if you have (say) 3 of the same item to sell

Sold something earlier that I listed during the £1 promo period and as nearly always, got charged the full £4.xx for it.
Managed 2 x £3 final fees out of the items I listed and sold. The rest were charged at full whack.
