Just saw an advert about these on Facebook, prices valid till 1st October. RRPs for these gloves go from £31-£60. Prices shown Including VAT (you can choose a Non-VAT price option).

These are high quality work gloves from Dickies in collaboration with KONG - one of the world's best known glove manufacturers. These safety gloves meet EN388 specifications and have the maximum level of cut resistance (level 5). The padded foamed-nitrile palm offers high visibility, grip & impact absorption whilst there is an excellent level of protection - the metacarpal is at 80% of impact absorption, whilst the knuckle protection is at an incredible 90% impact absorption.

Bought these for work on cars in the garage.
No more cut and grazed fingers. They are very snug around your hands and are the best gloves I have ever owned. I can imagine these being perfect for big industrial environments.

Unfortunately the Dickies Heavy Duty Gloves were only available in XXL when I ordered - guess they were popular, and XL sold out?

Ordered most in XL and L, so I can try them on.

Was going to measure my hand but there's no size guide, and then realised I could just use some of my existing work gloves to try - which are size 9 or 10. So L or XL should hopefully work.

These are essentially slightly tweaked KONG gloves:

So a good deal from the looks of it.

Although you can get some of the KONG gloves and some of the Dickies gloves off eBay etc. for around £10-£15 depending on the glove

Would be nice if they did something lighter weight too - just a good DIY glove. These are real rigger gloves it seems.

Good to have a heavy duty pair of gloves though.

Tried the heavy duty gloves and the waterproof gloves today.
When I started work it was pissing it down so I put the waterproof gloves on. Being new they took a bit of getting used to and too thick for fiddly job. Performed well and kept my hands dry and warm. It has a soft fleecy type of lining.only problem, hard to put on with damp or wet hands. I ordered XL.
The other gloves are thinner and more flexible, although not waterproof kept my hands dry. Easier to get on and off. Ordered XL.
The grip on both pairs was great and the finger protection felt very good.
I have ordered another 5 pairs but XXL.

Boyf did all the measurements to determine his glove size before ordering (size M) - and all he's done is moan about them! He says they're too tight, digits are a tad too long and there's not much room for manoevure with the fingers.

Maybe the Thinsulate-lined ones (the RRP £60, waterproof gloves) need a bit more "breaking in" or maybe he needs a size up, not sure.

Sounds like a size up would help. Fingers are on the long side buy not a problem for me in my job.
Imho, well worth a tenner a pair, obviously cos I've bought another 5 pairs.

Damn, I need some new work gloves but I struggle to find ones with the fingers long enough! Wouldn't want to buy without trying first and don't want the hassle of sending them back. :-(
Anyone else have this problem and able to recommend a brand? Obviously there are the fingerless gloves, but the few I have tried just haven't been comfortable.

Glad it's been useful, the Deal went cold for a while initially - I mentioned this to boyf as he uses a chainsaw in winter, and for other outdoorsy jobs. Wouldn't have a clue what to recommend to HUKDers!

He chose the waterproof, GL01WP, £60 RRP option, which has Thinsulate lining (mentioned in the video clip), not sure about the others.
