Having examined it closer now, the one thing I am not happy with is the extender ring which does not seem to be very sturdy and if not careful could be quite unsafe in use and easily knocked off with the heating top as it doesn't sit very firmly or lock in any way to the . The ring is easily distorted and could leave gaps where heat will leak as well.

Got email this morning saying it was ready to collect and only ordered last night. It's a beast, far bigger than our last one even without the extension ring and racks allow 2 levels of cooking and an oil sprayer as well. Bargain. Thanks again for posting this deal.

Had a non-halogen air fryer before and the kids much preferred the food but it stopped working and not worth repairing. This is a quarter of the cost, have gone and bought it so many thanks for posting the deal. Your fault there's going to be less workspace in the kitchen again.

Possible cash back too. I have had these types of oven for years. I don't use anything else, they are fantastic! However, I took a look at this model in WIlko who have it at £29.99 too, there is an issue with it. Having had a number of makes over the years, basically they are all the same except the grill/guard over the bulb. This Daewoo does not have a guard around the side of the bulb. I can tell you from experience that, when sat on a worktop, the light will be super bright leaking from the oven, almost blinding to look at for an adult, definitely not good for kids who's eye line will be similar height to the bulb. My personal recommendation would be not to buy it. My mother in law needs a new one but having owned one like this, I will not be buying this design again. These types of oven pop up regularly for £30, sometimes less. Id wait for another one.

I bought this from Wilkos the other week after the previous RDyas post, though I have a Rymans not far, my Wilko is a bit nearer so I though I wouldnt have so far if I had to return. Wasnt sure of the weigh of it all but it's not too heavy. My first halogen oven, replacing a (impossible to clean) mini electric oven (which was fine for my limited use ) Anyway you are right , it is quite bright, though I just leave it to work and am not necessarily in the kitchen with it in my line of vision. Though if you have the choice and can wait, and others have a guard (wasnt aware of this distinction). My only reservation was that I am not sure if spares for the bulb can be found online and replaced easily in this model? I have easily found bulbs online that fit many popular ovens but they never seem to mention this brand.

I
Ive replaced a number of bulbs. There is a couple of different terminal designs but all are available on eBay and easy to modify the terminals. Just check the diameter of bulb. Its possible to replace them but it is fiddly and requires the whole stripping down of the top unit. I wish they would make them so one could just unclip and reconnect a new one but they have not made it that simple. But at £7.29 for the cheapest bulb on eBay, maybe worth the effort for some.

If you consider a bulb is about £8, so for about £20 or less you get tongs, lid stand, 2 baskets, 2 racks, a decent refillable oil spryer and all the rest of the device , compared to a conventional tiny mini oven for example, it's a no brainer and it seems wasteful to chuck to end up in landfill and buy a new one if it's just a bulb it needs. I wont try to dismantle til the bulb actually blows so I probably wont know til the time what size etc is necessary but hopefully will have got quite a bit of use out of it. Just getting the hang of the slightly difference approach needed for this oven.
