Compact grey and white 5 gang extension lead, most importantly has on/off switches for each plug.
More capacity than a 4 gang, but smaller than a 6 gang, if you're leaving inside an cabinet or short on space.
I have two of the 3 gang versions and they've worked flawlessly for me.

I would love this with surge protection and USB, and in white

So would I  but all the extensions I've seen with this spec are 6 gang and cost more than this. Suppose you could plug it into an RCD adaptor to be ultra safe!

I have a couple of these, I wouldn't recommend, as there are sparks when you switch off an apparel more often than not :disappointed:

Decent price but just be aware with cpc they send you catalogues all the time even if you never purchase with them again! I bought a Pi kit in 2014 and have had monthly catalogues since. Its a first world problem, but an irritating one and waste of paper nonetheless.

A simple phone call will get you removed from the snail mail list, quite painless really if you want to save a tree a eyar
While the 1 review isn't good, it should be noted not many people bother to leave reviews on CPC so that wouldn't worry me. I'd certainly rather use this than the many hundreds of nasty crap on Amazon/ebay that has UK/Euro sockets that look totally awful and unsafe. CPC stuff is usually fairly decent, even their budget stuff.

I have the 4 gang, rewired it to take a IEC plug. It isn't badly made inside but I wouldn't fancy running at capacity (load wise) for long.
