I got 6 of these plugs I bought from Asda many years ago. I remember paying £5 per set (3 plugs + remote). They work great with the RM Pro. I integrated this into smarthings and is they work great as cheap smarthome switches.
I got my smartthings integrated into Alexa, so I now have alexa voice control too :).

Bought these some time ago at £10 they work well for just dumb switching of or on remotely in vicinity.

I'm looking for something like this that is always in the on state that I can command to switch off for 1 second and back on. Anyone any ideas?
For security lighting on a PIR, I want the PIR to be always functional but would like to be able to manually switch on for length of PIR timer by resetting power.

You might wanna remove the word "smart" from the title / description, OP

"Compatible with other smart home devices like TellStick Net and ZipaBox."

Because on their own these are 'dumb' devices like most things sold with smart in the name. Smart refers to automated, if this then that type functions. As I said before, these can be part of a solid smart system though.
Ironically, most people who do have genuinely smart capable systems still only use them as a phone controlled remote control.

They may be compatible with those products, but these sockets are not "Smart" at all.

Best thing about these ones is they don't forget which code they're assigned to after a power cut like most of the cheapies.

Looks like a pretty basic piece of kit mainly intended to use with a remote control. Doesn't work with Echo /Alexa

Perfect smart home accompaniment for an RM Pro, Home Assistant and an Echo Dot, or leave out Home Assistant if you just want a remote you can shout at.
