I'm either missing something or this is ridiculously cheap for what it is. Around £40 from other websites. Google the part number and Corsair's website states it is 1 x 4GB as opposed to 2 x 2GB.

Silly question, if I have 3000mhz 8GB ram in my build, can I add this 4GB stick?

In short often you will get it to work, but I believe it will reduce the speed across the other memory. They often recommend against mixing brands/ speeds of memory, but I don't know how true that is. If I were you I would be more tempted to get an extra two sticks as otherwise it will put you down to single channel with 3 sticks, regardless of whether it works or not. For this price I would definitely lean towards giving it a try!

No you can't, you would need to put in the same RAM you already have if your wanting to add more.

of course you can add it if you're motherboard is ddr4 but will reduce the speed to the slowest stick and stop the dual channel, so just but 2 x sticks for £30.

Yes you can add it, but different sticks usually cause massive issues. Different timings, slower speed etc and then they could just not work at all which i have had before.

It doesn't specify that it's two sticks so I'm guessing it's just the one

If you google the part number it comes up as 1 x 4GB on both Scan and Corsair websites.

Out of Stock no longer available, I expect they picked up on their mistake, or someone bought the entire stock. it's most likely a mistake, as all indications seems to point at RAM prices increasing again not falling.

I've got this on order but it sounds like there's no point unless you've got two. Will almost certainly sell on if it's honoured.

Not yet. They said it'll take 3-5 working days. Funny how it doesn't take 3-5 working days for them to take the money off you.....

Exact the same call I got , I suspect the 30 in stock is a lie by the way. Another company to avoid.

And then they blatantly lie in the cancellation email. " This may be due to one of the following reasons:
