Not really any good if you want to upgrade its used all the 8 slots. I would rather have had 4 x 16gb then I could upgrade to 128gb :relaxed:

That's why you should take only 4x8gb from this (32gb), and sell the oher 4x8gb as a 32gb kit for around 200 pounds

Designed for an 8xDIMM X99 Haswell-era motherboard, so not exactly state of the art and hence the price. X299 boards will support faster 4200Mhz RAM.

Decent latency and works out to like £45 per module. Actually not bad as a bulk buy for system builders/techs. Plus you could chuck the dodgy looking RAM cooler on ebay for £20 or something, somebody would have it.

Buy 256gb worth, still cheaper than the iPhone X.

I've posted the reason many times on Hot UK, basically after care service is non-existent, and that's putting it politely. Try and make a valid warranty claim and watch them try and squirm out of their legal obligations. My experience isn't unique, plenty of horror stories on various review websites. After sales service problems seem a common theme.

Personally never had a problem with Scan, even RMA'd something, didn't send it back, kept RMA'ing for like 12 months, kept not sending it back (mind lapse). Then a year later found it, got a new RMA and sent it back some 3 years after purchasing, still got a replacement.
Oh and it was RAM.

Great deal, have some heat young man.
I haven't bought anything from Scan for over a year but I've never had any issues with my previous orders or when contacting support for replacements/RMA either.
