I was about to buy a pack of 2 for £4.99 from screwfix then saw 10 for £3.49! Thought it was a mistake but no...it is real and cheap as chips...

Have done a bit of pipe work over the and can not remember using a 15mm end stop neither well 22mm.

once had a gas fire removed, and aksed for a gas plumber to seal the gas pipe under the floorboards. he did it with a compression fitting, i thought it a bit odd but paid anyway. anyway did a bit of research and found this was illegal so called his company and they sent someone round the next day to do a proper job with one of these, or the gas equivalent

why/how would you have a pipe ending in a blind-end in a heating/plumbing system? just curious..

Plumbers use them, stop ends for 22mm copper pipe, contain solder so just clean & heat.............
course we all know now days it's plastic push fit stuff - who can afford copper ?
