Apple pay/android pay have a £30 limit whereas this has a limit of £250.

Apple pay has no limits anymore. Only contactless payments using aphysical card have the £30 limit. Most people don't seem to know this but there is a vague Apple ad campaign to promote awareness.

Doesn't work on all self-service scanners, which can often make a mockery of its name. Did have to force close the app once in order to get it to work. Still, very handy when all goes according to plan.

It works if you scan it on the upright scanner below the screen but not on the flat one.

I think its the best and most innovative app from any supermarket, very simple to use but sometimes logging in can be a pain when you don't expect it to be logged out and have to remember your complex password.

One scan of your phone screen does your payment and clubcard. A big effort technically from Tesco requiring the latest till systems and scanners.

Sainsburys have barely just got
contactless card machines and I'm always forgetting my nectar card which they still can't scan from a phone. Yet they print a bunch of useless paper vouchers to hand over with the receipt.

I think Tesco will abandon this in the near future. It's too slow to use at the till. Tesco advise starting the app before you leave home so that it works quicker in the store. I returned to using just my credit card (Tesco). I would only use the app if I had no cards or cash.

Very true. Takes a while for it to get going and sometimes doesn't even scan when the cashiers are using the scanners. It is handy though as I don't need to open 2 things when I'm using my phone to pay (clubcard & apple pay) but not perfect

Turning your phone's brightness to maximum will probably help - try it next time :thumbsup:

Works fine for me, probably depends what phone you have, also had customers use it and seems fine for them

I have used it for fuel, not pay at pump though.
