Enter the barcode shown here to claim your free seed pack from Nestle. On website it says you need to enter barcode after purchase but I got barcodes here so enjoy !!!
T&Cs also outline that is completely against the rules!

You can pickup 100 boxes and you’ll find out same barcodes. There is no cat in hell chance to find out who’s bought pack and who hasn’t, unless you ring or email them to tell the truth.

Seems strangely difficult to find what the seeds are actually for, unless I'm just missing it somewhere. All the website says is that you get some free seeds... seeds for what?? Guess I'll find out when they arrive!

People complaining that it’s breaking rules when the idea is to help the environment which is what we’ll do by getting as many people on this offer. Not as if you can eat the seeds is it?

Another dubious attempt by Nestlé to promote itself as an ethical company, pretending it cares about the environment by sending out free seeds to its customers.
Nestlé's PlanBee by the way is another of their cynical plans designed to promote themselves as an ethically conscious company. They are anything but.
Funny that this offer also appears to coincide with next months Nestlé-Free Week. Another attempt by Nestlé in diverting attention away from its unethical behaviour.
Nestlé has also tried this before by trying to improve its image by introducing Fairtrade KitKat, which some people incorrectly think makes it a fair trade company.
Fortunately I don't think the bees will know the difference.

What a load of shite that page is. I’m going to buy more just because I think the whole idea is stupid. Why shouldn’t they promote there products as the best. Every other company does.

Applicants should retain their till receipt showing their purchase of the qualifying product in case of any issues arising with their application.
I imagine they are going to be busy with millions of applications with the same barcode

Barcodes are the same on every box/packet of the same item - i.e every 800g box of Cheerios is the same barcode. They're not a unique serial number (pun absolutely intended).
Pootled to cactusbrandy
25 Sep 17#54
Indeed. The bar code only changes for a new batch. I.e. when the expiry date is different.

Uhh nope
cactusbrandy to Pootled
26 Sep 17#69
No, the barcode remains the same in those instances too. It's inefficient to keep changing barcodes in systems. If the size/weight changes, then yes - new barcode likely. Even some special SKUs will generate a different barcode, but everyday stuff will have the same barcode for years sometimes.

All the cereal is marked with the same barcode. The point of the barcode is let supermarkets know what to charge you for not to uniquely identify the individual item.
