Ryanair's seat purchase policy is terrible. Recently I paid £16(one way) for the family of three to sit next to each other. And they claim to be family friendly...

Here's a trick for you, just pay for ONE priority seat. You will be let into the airplane before other people. Once you're there, book seats for the other two people in your party for when they're allowed into the airplane.
I have done this a couple of times when traveling with my family of 6 people.

You must have done it years ago before they started pre allocated seats as it simply wouldnt work now unless the plane was half empty

Plus extra if you want to sit together each way plus priority boarding if you want to take your pull along cabin baggage on with you each way soon bumps up the price by about another £30 + each approx
