More shrinkflation these were 750g last year now 680g (-70g) for the same price £5 this is becoming a joke, they must be making profits even with the price of coca going up

Left it late but brought 2 tins of Roses earlier, but the tin weighing 660g is a disgrace, even so it's not a bad deal and the Roses have some nice variations, unless you have a Nut allergy, I'd 90% of them contain nuts. Luckily for me, I'm a nutter!

You've brought this on yourself. With 10 or more different chocolates in a Roses pouch reading all those ingredients might become a chore. They will just buy you a bag of carrots instead :relaxed:

Why not let them know what Vegan chocolate is available that you would like? It's like you're looking forward to being disappointed. Also, it should state on a packet 'suitable for vegetarians/vegans'.

Mate, if you've chosen to go vegan perhaps you should make their lives easier by informing them which chocolates would be suitable for you rather than calling them names?

However scanned at self serve with some trepidation and the offer is indeed live on the system. I picked up one of each

Similar 680g tubs are on sale at Morrison's for £4.72, the smaller 450g pouches are £4 but if you buy 3 it's only £10. These are on sale now. Someone said they could get 2 tubs for £8 but this deal was not on display at my local Morrison's in Berwick on Tweed.
By the was, the Roses pouches are absolutely delicious, and not a bad flavour or hard toffee among them, so don't believe the negative comments above.

Agree this is definitely better value. Morrisons 3 bags for £10 = 1.35kg for £10 Tesco 2 tubs for £7 = 1.36kg for £7 or 1.5kg in some varieties for £7

thinking back to a kid I remember u did get the odd horrible or hard toffee I wonder why that is lol probably better of getting the pouches for the rosses . Then again quality has the odd bad one to . heroes are grate with the cream egg ones now. I made a tub last me a whole year once didn't eat many sweets back then lol but now back to me old days . The celebrations tub I just buy the standard sweets of them but heroes did seem a lot in tub last year and the sweets are bigger then celebrations . I probably buy one of everything lol

Well funnily enough, just yesterday I researched this, because my kid was taking in a tub of Celebrations to give out to his classmates for his birthday. I needed to know how many was in a tub so that there would be enough. I found this video, and couple of other references from a year or more ago. They all referred to Celebration tubs as being 750g, but the new ones, at least the ones we bought in Co-Op, are 680g.
Oh if anyone is wondering, apparently 750g tubs have around 81 chocolates, and so by my calculation 680g tubs have around 72-73.

Just avoid the Cadburys Roses, because like so many Cadburys products they have cheapened them so much that only the name bears any resemblance to the former product. To be honest they aren't even worth £1 now.
