It's a great deal if your Costa is in a tesco as the tea is only £1 there so you get tea and a pastry for £2.

Why would you go to Costa and drink tea?

Because I was skint and the tea was only a pound..

Because tea is healthier than coffee. Because £1 is less than £2.60.

Yes but in proportion. You can get a cup of tea anywhere. A coffee from costa is much better than your standard coffee from home/other places.

What's a 'flat white'?

You can just Google "What is a flat white" and you'll see plenty of links showing you what it is and explaining the difference between a flat white, a latte, and a cappucino, which are all espresso based steamed milk drinks but vary in the amount of steamed to frothed milk, size, and strength of taste.

It's kind of latte but better and cheaper

The teacake is a ripoff, it's the size of a small breadbun, nowt like the Warburtons teacakes

Costa is probably the most overpriced of all overpriced British cafe chains. I've been there right after I got a couple of gift cards wroth £13 from Android Pay. The amount we had didn't feel it was worth even half the £13.

So you buy a hot drink full price, then you can buy a pastry for an extra £1, correct? That's supposed to be a good deal is it ? :astonished:
