Qnap 453a down to £399.99 on Amazon now. Wish I could afford it.

With NAS you really need to stick to Synology or QNAP. Other brands are worth avoiding.

Voted hot as it's the cheapest available price for this.....but I had a Buffalo NAS in the past and would never buy one again. Firmware and hardware both very poor leading to lost of frustration! Had an order with Amazon a few months backfor a QNAP that they cancelled due to misprice and have been searching for a decent NAS since.

Are there any good NAS deals out there? And any ideas where is best to look? I've been looking for a while now with little joy in getting a really good deal...

I recently bought one and it has two x Toshiba DT01ACA3 I would buy some other model in future as i have a few issues with this one. I was happy with it for a couple of weeks, but now it's not working as it should.

The earlier 'better' price doesn't include £4.99 standard delivery - this deal includes delivery.

Yes 6TB for that price looks suspect, doubt they're gonna be WD Reds

Also appears to run at SATA II speeds.
