Can anybody confirm whether these work ok with windows (8.1)? Microphone included.... If anybody can test I'd be eternally grateful....

My point exactly. Regarding the volume, it could be the GAIN is low on the music file. There are apps which allow you to change the volume level, one I know of is MP3Gain.

I hate it when someone asks me a question like that, because I think it is a matter of personal preference to a degree. I don't like too much bass, I prefer to hear the more 'hidden' sounds of a track. Some people would say Bose are $h!t, I think they're great.

Received mine today and they're not my cup of tea sound wise. Volume isn't loud enough with some music and the bass is flat

Received mine today. They are so comfortable, I've tried all sorts of earphones and headphones, and always get discomfort after less than 30 mins use. After a while of sitting in the garden this afternoon listening to my iPad I didn't even realise I was wearing them.

Hiya I got mine today. Is the cable from the headphone quiet loose of u? I find a little twist or tug I loose the right sides sound.
Anyone else found this? Is this a fault?
Thanx in advance.

When I first put mine on, there was no sound coming out of the right earphone. I realised I hadn't quite pushed the lead into the headphone socket far enough, you should feel a slight "click" when fully inserted, it does need a bit of force to locate the lead correctly. Other than that, the headphones work great, no loss of sound with a twist or tug of the cable.

I know these aren't "exercise headphones", but how well do they hold to your head? Could they be used for running?

It depends how they clamp your head. Bose are known for being extremely comfortable, so you’d have to find out for yourself. You’ve got 30 days to decide anyway.

Thanks OP I went for it today following a visit to the Bose shop where I tried a few of the other options. After weighing up the price of the SoundtTrue as opposed to the SoundLink and even more expensive QC35's (even with the £256 deal posted on here) ive went with your deal as they will be handy for making calls with the mic and still a fraction of the wireless options.

All the rubber around my bose headphones has perished and fallen off. Gutted. Only about 4 years old....

Not getting in to the Apple/Android debate, just funny that these are for iOS yet the new phones don't have the jack.

Are these ok as stereo music headphones for pc? Or stereo? I bought them before I noticed they were for Apple

I would assume so, though don't quote me on it. You can use Apple EarPods which have a microphone which work with a PC (from my experience). Like I stated in the description, you have a 30-day return period if they don't work.

Going from the reviews on the Bose web site the headphones will work but I doubt the microphone will.
