Excellent drill bits if you don't have space for multiple drill bits, they go through pretty much every surface, individually they cost £2.99 and a set of 4 £7.99,they also have great reviews.

Don't know if you noticed but these are much more useful sizes than the original post even though they have the same product number at Screwfix. Tried to get Amazon to match but it's been over a day so unlikely I guess.

Bit of work planned so just grabbed a couple of sets for 4.99 each. Nice one!

I’ve found the hex version of these for £2.99 plus vat if anyone is interested
Yeah I realised that when IT turned up today
In the search description it says 4-5-6-8-9-10mm but the product description only says 6x60mm

As an alternative, there's a dewalt branded 5 piece multimaterial set from screwfix listed a couple of weeks ago for a fiver. As linked by shadey12.

I must agree. Have been using them for last 3 years and they're still going strong. The best is that you can drill in the steel bracket, than in concrete, than back to steel. Stays sharp pretty much forever.
The only problem with this deal that the bits comes in useless sizes 4,5,6,8mm.
Pretty much useless as the brown plugs needs 7mm, red ones 5.5mm

Best drill bits I've ever owned.
I've got a few sets of Bosch construction drill bits. They sent me two sets by mistake.
Went through the metal lental above the window in seconds. Recommend getting the 3mm for a pilot hole.
Cheap bits just flatten on lentals.

The construction bits are better quality than the multipurpose bits. They cost more but didn't flatten after some lental drilling.

The only bits I use. Love them.

They are really good for battoning a wall, drill straight through the wood and into brick, then screw in the concrete screws and your done! Much faster.

Thanx for that. I use the Makita 4 mode Combi Drill which uses a hex chuck, so anything I buy from now on will need a hex shank.
I’ll have a look to see if I can find the same bits with a hex shank. Google images show you can buy them.
I second this. Great bits but do wear pretty quickly, especially on masonry

Looks identical to the Bosch multi construction TCT drill bit set 4 piece I bought from Tool station for £7.78 in July.
Good drill bits, the most difficult part is opening the plastic case without destroying it! It is not clear you have to break a plastic tag off to be able to open the case!
