Also remember you can get electronic magazines for free using the Zinio for libraries app and your library account.

this has been available for years.....but still not on Kindles due to licensing issues

Most authorities will offer free ebooks, audiobooks and magazines. Different authorities will use different providers, so check with your local library if you can't find yours here.
The libraries I work for use BorrowBox and Rbdigital for example.

All available in Bristol libraries, its a shame Bristol City Council are cutting back from 29 librarys to only 9, but hay they offer free book downloads hoping that no one will notice that the librarys have gone!!! Who needs free public services? children? elderly? Lonley? unemployed? employed? you?

Link to find local libraries.. looks like the majority are in London. My local library is not on there.
