Also these US type keyboards don't have a power on/off button
The UK versions do, usually where the top spyglass button is on this particular one

I have the non backlit version of this pad and its very good. I paid almost as much for it as this one however my variant has a large rechargeable Nokia style battery.. So far it has lasted two months without a charge..

Anyone know if the AAA batteries in this are recharged by plugging in the microusb or would you have to recharge externally? The backlight is... uneven, to say the least

I have the bluetooth version of this keyboard (whereas this looks to need a dongle) and I use it to control a Media PC and it works brilliantly.

The annoyance is there is no dedicated stop button which would be very useful.

Mine just arrived. It's got a micro USB port and the manual says it has a rechargeable battery but sticking the charger in does nothing. It's also got space for a couple of AAA batteries. So...

Apologies for the bad info. I have an identical-looking model with an intergrated battery, afaik AAA versions weren't available when I purchased it.

In case you don't have batts, here's a decent option for a set of reliable/cheap/decent capacity rechargeables. (UK seller no.2 is 99% review-rated, maybe a better option than seller no.1 at 95%)

Tbf the description on the site and the manual says it's a rechargeable battery. Maybe they messed up my order? Will be interesting to see if anyone else reports back on this thread.

It currently lists as AAA, but it could have been recently updated. The oldest review I found mentioning AAAs was submitted in July.

Perhaps try your luck explaining that when you ordered it was for an integrated battery model, and they might just offer to send you another, especially if the description was changed only recently.
