This won't have Playstation Now.

Argos say it will.

Argos won't have updated the product details since it was launched. Playstation Now was phased out from Sony Blu-ray players on August 15th 2017.

OK, that makes sense then.

How many months of PSNow?

None, pretty sure they just mean it is PS Now compatible, probably not for very long though.
No idea how PS Now would even work on a none gaming device anyway, do they expect you to play console games on a bluray player remote  Imagine in seriousness you buy a controller but that is another expense that costs nearly as much as this player itself, might as well just get a used PS4 and play the games natively for not much more.
Think PS Now really needs to get bundled with plus, if Sony keep trying to push it as a standalone service it is just going to die a slow death, which is a shame as the core idea isn't that bad....

Sony have already ditched support of the "amazing playstation now" on TVs and Bluray players.
It hasn't quite joined the Mini Disc, Rolly, Mylo, Qualia, Airboard, e-Villa, Viao Musicclip, Aido and OLED TV.... in the "great" ideas from sony that didn't quite make mainstream....
but surely the fat lady has cleared her throat and only a matter of time until she belts out a tune and puts it out of its misery...

You consider oled tech a failure?

Well Sony have stopped making it. I didn't say failure... just not adopted by mainstream. Didn't live up to the hyp

So what?
Oled gives you the best image quality you can get, qled is a failure though.

I think you should probably do a bit more investigation before you continue this argument. See the list below for all the manufacturers who have OLED's out for 2017.
LG
Panasonic
Sony
Philips
Toshiba
Bang & Olufsen
Loewe
I'm guessing that list will be quite a bit longer next year, and then the year after.

OLED is pretty mainstream now. Samsung and their QLED on the other hand...

Thought you might have slipped 'Vita' in there for a quick upset

Ha.
There were enough controversial items to bring the geeks out in force.
The guy that not only remembered the name of the Sony dog but also pointed out my accidental typo won the internet for today.
I salute him.
I love my vita.
Another case of sony ditching something but I love my minidisk too.
if someone said either were ditched by Sony I'd have to agree though- same with everything on that list.

The quicker this service dies the faster we can get real backward compatibility. I would love to know how much of a failure this service has been and how much money it has lost Sony.

And the TV Sideview app is now rubbish I had it with my bravia tv but sony, for some strange reason has stripped the best bits out of the app

So the PS feature no longer works /supported on this then?

Not a great deal really. I paid less for mine. Wasn't impressed with the smart functions at all. But kept it because it was cheap and I needed a basic BD player. Until it stopped booting up after a few months. Amazon were kind enough to take it back for a refund.
