I would get this but I think I have enough monitors in my collection, heat added though!

The AOC 24 inch appears to be £7 more and have a 1 milliseconds refresh rate. The contrast ratio isn't as good however.

I think you meant response time. Also, that is a TN panel, whereas this is an IPS panel. So although this has a worse response time, it will have far superior viewing angles and colour reproduction.

Hot, I have one and it's just over 3 years old (amazing that they still make the same model) - comes with 3 year guarantee, excellent image quality, great viewing angles, great connectivity. In built speakers are useless other than to make a very quiet sound (don't rely on them for much)
Often it's about £120 so this is great.

For the price you cannot complain. Good connectivity, decent display and a reasonable size.
I am looking for a monitor at the moment, but I am put off this one by the inflexible stand and the fact that some reviewers mention that it causes the monitor to wobble! I suppose you could VESA-mount it with a gas-filled counterbalance, but of course you are then adding another £40+ to the price. For me this won't work as my table is glass!
I spent much time with you yesterday looking at all different sizes of monitor and different price brackets and I think that I will plump for the Dell u2417h, but it is over double the price of this one. I'm going to wait for a deal to come through, like any HotUkDealer worth their salt.
