Probably old news but only noticed this today and couldn't see it on here anywhere.
Prime Student Members Get 20% off Selected Open-Box Products from Amazon Warehouse Deals
Get 20% off select open-box and pre-owned products with Warehouse Deals (the “Offer”) from 09:01 BST on 17 September 2017 to 23:59 14 October 2017, unless otherwise stated (the “Offer Period”).

During the Offer Period, selected products will be available on this page to order at the specified discount. The discount will be automatically deducted at checkout.
The Offer only applies if the same delivery speed is selected for all Qualifying Items. Please check the “Delivery Details” section during checkout to confirm that all Qualifying Items have the same delivery speed.
The Offer only applies to items sold by Amazon’s Warehouse Deals.
If you remove Qualifying Items from your Basket, the Offer will cease to apply;
If you cancel your order for a Qualifying Item (so that the combined purchase value of the remaining Qualifying Items falls below the Minimum Purchase requirement), the Offer will cease to apply; and
If you return a Qualifying Item, Amazon reserves the right to charge you (using the payment method you used for the original order and without further notice) for the discount you received as part of the Offer.
Unless otherwise specified on the landing page of the relevant promotion, the Offer may not be used on pre-existing orders or in conjunction with any other offer.
The Offer is subject to availability and may be withdrawn or amended without notice. The Offer has no cash alternative.

If you’re a UNiDAYS/student beans member you can also send a screenshot of your account. You don’t need to have an NUS card to get student prime.

Amazon warehouse stuff use to come in the condition stated, all items I had with very good or like new, were always in great condition.
But this last 6 months, I had 4 items that either were in terrible condition or missing stuff, that was never stated in description and claimed to be like new or very good.
While they pick it up for free, I heard it goes against you if you return too many items back, so I don’t be bother taking risk with warehouse deals anymore.
Although I do spend a lot on amazon, so it’s nice to make a little saving here and there but for me it’s nolonger worth the hassle and risk.

Good post. But to be honest it’s ‘selected’ items. Selection is poor on amazons part. Still over priced jumble.

The selection is far, far smaller than the usual 20% off Amazon warehouse. Still beggars can't be choosers!

Seems I have to be an,' Amazon Student ,to join the party any fast and cheap way of getting the NUS card. The old courses listed here have expired or are too expensive. Any suggestions?

I've just got an NUS Card. Not even studying! just selected carrying out an online course on NUS page then screen shot of my card to amazon.
I followed the steps in that thread last week and received my card on Friday, sent Amazon a picture of the card and they updated my account to another year of Student Prime for £39.

I’m not! On the NUS site select ecareers I chose a Microsoft course and paid my 12 quid. Then screen shot from the app a picture to amazon prove a student page took about ten minutes.

This years Almzon Student Warehouse sucks. I preferred last years 40% off just about everything. My favourite was the 40% off 3 Nikon lenses I had my eye on. This year it’s trash. What students needs Toner Cartridges for Office grade printers. Load of old cobblers.

what - last year? Just 2 weeks ago they had 20% + 20% extra I picked up 3 WD Red Pro 4TB 7200RPM NAS hard drives for 95/each. They came completely sealed and brand new.
This warehouse 20% off is going on for the next 2 weeks. Fingers crossed they add something worthwhile again!

I always think there must be very good reasons the majority of those items were returned as I don't think people go through that sort of hassle on a whim. Whether that means defective or the product just being no good. Am I wrong?

Sad to say but yes you’re factually incorrect :stuck_out_tongue: People are very happy to buy online on a whim. Especially when the retailer offers 30 day returns with no cost. It can be anything from a simple open box, didn’t like the colour. To buy it, go on holiday for 2 weeks, then send it back for a refund.
Also I think the Amazon warehousing depends on the return reason. If you buy something, then return it saying no longer wanted. It could be unopened but their system may just redirect it to Warehouse. Other times no longer required could be heavily used but goes unchecked.

i don't think it qualifies for the discount but there is currently a couple of ryzen 7 1800x cpu's going for £299, not a bad price for them at all.

These warehouse promotions are getting worse and worse everytime ..... Plus big lottery with anything there (one time you will get almost new item next time not working rubish for almost new price lol ). They used to be very good and everything was dicounted ...

Just ensure that you check the condition of any item carefully on the 'Available from' page. I was about to confirm an order for an LG TV but then read:
"Small scratches on screen (less than 1/4 in x 1/4 in). Item is without scratches. Missing HDMI cable. Missing stand. Missing owner / user manual. Accessories may have cosmetic damage. Item will come in original packaging. Packaging will be damaged. All purchases eligible for Amazon customer service and a 30-day return policy. "
Still, it does look as if the return policy is still offered so you shoulod be able to return soemthing if you don't like what you receive.

I actually feel better if they say a few things wrong with it. Means they actually checked it! I had a few items recently marked as "good" or "very good" with no details and they turned up either very obviously defective or totally broken.
