You obviously have no idea what you are talking about. Its a UHS-I U3 / Class10 and theres a "check you devices compatibility" which may be populating with iphone as its encouraging you to type something in to check.

Read and write speeds on this are fantastic and samsung are usually pretty reliable. Surprised at the cold considering these are normally at least £25

I take it that you are using an iPhone to view the page. It will be compatible in that you can plug the memory card adapter into your iPhone and then use this card. It doesn't necessarily mean you can fit the card inside your iPhone... Because... As you'll know... It has no memory card slot.

Either way, great card, great price. Just to give an example I usually use Sandisk ultra 64gb and my image writes to them at around 20 to 25mb/s on average, wrote to one of these and it averaged at about 38jmb/s, obvs that going to vary for everyone as Im using a usb card reader etc but just an example of how much faster it is.

Hot & £1 discount with MMLOYAL worked fine :-) Its £24.72 at Amazon, and this faster 100M/s card is cheaper than their slower 80Mb/s 64Gb version. For larger capacities, the Samsung 90Mb/s 128Gb card is £70 ....

Terrible cards, i had 3 fail when used in an S7 within 6 months, ended up switching to a SanDisk & not had any issues since!

Samsung CS were great in getting it sorted however so i'll give them that. Just glad I didn't keep anything important on it.

Every card I had fail was a sandisk!, Samsung still holding out fine. My lesson to take away from this is that they always fail and to backup frequently.

You are correct, It was the UHS-1 variant, just checked my amazon history.

1st card I thought it was a bad batch, the odd bad cards do slip through, Samsung replaced it. 2nd time I refunded it to Amazon & moaning to Samsung they sent me another one as they never got back to me before i refunded, 3rd one i just binned as not worth the hassle given their lifespan.

I'm not laughing at your misery, I'm just laughing at the cute story. This card has a 10 year warranty, so if you actually owned one of these cards you would of just got a refund. You wouldn't of just binned your last card, and nobody browsing this website would throw money away like that. The whole thing is just funny! :joy:

And to get them replaced i have to pay £4 a time to send it to the Netherlands. It was £16.99 when i ordered it, I got my refund so no loss!

It would seem these cards are cheaper at Gearbest though, I retract what I said before but 18.99 still is a pretty good price for prices at the moment (if you're already ordered).

I heavily torrented daily on this card in my phone before switching to it's bigger brother the 128GB.

Both cards have been absolutely rock solid and have stayed around longer than the phones they're in.

My wife, although a lighter user also uses this particular card with no problems.

Just waiting on a reasonable deal for a 256GB.

Worth mentioning I frequently physically remove the card to copy data from it quickly and despite some wear to the pretty red face there's been no problems.

Luckily i bagged a 256gb one around 11 months ago now for £75 legit etc because of the fireball Note 7 in the states Samsung were giving owners a choice of free gifts the 256gb cards was one of them, so on ebay.com from trusted sellers with 1000's odd feedback were selling them cheap along with the official paperwork from Samsung regarding the promotion couldn't resist as at that time they were £180 cheapest i could find in the UK and $250.

What would be regarded as 'write-intensive' though? Continuous shooting on a camera such as a sporting event or something requiring image after image? Or a dashcam writing and then rewriting over a short while later? Surely 4K at 30fps is pretty intensive with the amount of data? I'm happy if this will handle that well though as this is what I've bought it for

Depends on what purpose you buying this card for. Everything is designed to a standard for a set of purposes. For heavy continuous sequential shooting at high resolution, you're better off with something like samsung.com/uk/…EU/ but something like dashcam use, something like for transcend-info.com/Pro…727 for reliability & durability. MLC cards have a 3-6X increase in durability.

Warranties are there for a purpose but don't let that you stop you from buying a card like this that was designed to a standard for a set of purposes than the one you bought it for against that just to save a few quid.

In other words, if you buy this card to use it than what was designed for than you have just kissed goodbye to your warranty but then nothing is stopping you from telling a fib to Samsung if your card becomes corrupt & losing all your precious data to get a replacement or refund, is there? Question is, could you live with that?

Just ordered for my Samsung galaxy tab s2 8.0. I was looking for 128gb fast card. But my previous Toshiba 128gb U3 card failed after 2 days of use. So I'm bit tricky to go for big cards now. I had Samsung evo 64gb card as well. But I used it on my Samsung phone. It died after 1 year of use. Will see how this card goes :worried:

Samsung card comes with 10 year limited warranty & toshiba.co.uk/fla…ea/ comes with 5 year limited warranty. Make it what you like if a manufacturer can put a lot of faith behind their product but I know where I'll be spending my money (Samsung :wink: ) on just for the sake of a few quid for reliability & durability. Not that there is any wrong with Toshiba cards but depends entirely how much you like to spend.

Can't see any pics of an adaptor although may just be being thick!

Paid by paypal so not too concerned, but did scan the reviews before buying. Nearly 5 stars on about 1000 reviews I think, plus lots of people saying have tested Etc. and is genuine.

Will double check anyway, what's the best way to test/verify once I receive it? Thanks!

I must be missing something, Gearbest one doesn't come with Sd adaptor, just the card. Plenty of people have put reviews with pics up showing the packaging Etc.

Cool man just post here status of the card you received from them. You can test your card using H2testw tool. It's a windows software. You need a laptop to test it. Cheers :wink:

The /EU means the product is meant for sale in Europe and Australia. Appears genuine as long the print & text is sharp & not smudged on the packaging but also on the card itself.
