Never again in Lidl as they removed the crosses from the greek orthodox church , so they don't insult any customer who have different religion .

Fine with me. I’m atheist. I’m happy if they remove religious symbols - regardless of what the religion is. If they are inconsistent (ie. censor some religions and not others) then I’ll protest with you.

Next time they will remove the Union Flag red cross of St George from products...?

Why care anyway? If you're a Christian can you no longer be a Christian just because a cross has been removed from the packaging of your cheese? Do you think that removing the cross is going to make people move away from Christianity or that its presence was going to encourage people to take up Christianity? No, it does absolutely nothing and is of no consequence to your life.
On the other hand, as someone who is actually opposed to the Abrahamic religions and their history of murder and oppression, do I care if there's a cross on my cheese? No - it has absolutely no impact on my life. Even if it was a swastika, who cares? It's just a symbol, it only has power if you allow it to.
Religion is mass mind control as is marketing, caring about the specifics of symbolism used in either seems like Stockholm Syndrome to me. At the very least it's funny seeing how weak minded people are. Why is there a newspaper article for it? To create an effect sensationalism and to polarise people to one side or another and therefore make them easy to control and manipulate as a whole. This is why the UK is still considered to be a "Christian country" by many and everyone is subtly (or not so) manipulated into hating Muslims and thinking they're the enemy, in reality - same god, same murder, same oppression, both archaic, it's time everyone grew up.

Just print on some old or preferably cheap recycled paper, the sort of stuff magazines are printed on, and you should be fine :sunglasses: . Doubt the staff would even bother reading to check, especially at busy times.

You can't. Last time mine was delivered to my door.
Magazine/leaflet is about 15 pages-ish and is the size of an old 45 record sleeve.

I remember when the voucher was inside METRO newspaper. I used to collect lots of them and give to people I thought that would spend £30 while I was shopping. Their faces changed.
Since the voucher is inside their magazine I haven't used it :disappointed:
Good to know, btw, and some heat for you!!

A German Lidl spokesman said: 'We avoid the use of religious symbols on our packaging to maintain neutrality in all religions.'
So they take a picture of a Church.....

As flyingflea has said, can someone post a scan or PDF of the voucher page on here? The last three times they posted these leaflets for some people a kind soul did just that. Thanks.

Over 16% discount aint bad it's much better than loyalty points. :raised_hand:
Opening post
I remember from seeing this as a deal last time they don't all arrive on the same day, and people from all over the country seem to get them.
Great deal for stacking with their weekend deals - valid until the end of next weekend (17/9/17).
Worth noting in the fine print - "Only two alcoholic products can be purchased in conjunction with this voucher"
