I think most other Tescos have already gotten rid of all theirs. They've been reduced at half-price for the last few weeks. Unfortunately for me they'd already sold out in my store.

Very good deal if you can get a hold of some! I've just popped to my local but no dice :cry: Budget batteries were selling these for £2 on-line the other week and they too were snapped up pretty quickly before I managed to get a hold of some.
They currently have 25% off recyko products with discount code "RECYKO25", might be of use to people like me who have no luck and can't get a hold of these in their local. Apparently it is recycle week. Weeks and days for everything these days. Off to enjoy watch the league of legends rebroadcast day... or week? haven't decided yet :relaxed: .

I agree, I wish there was a separate section for local deals. These deals are marginally more useful than someone posting what they've found in the clearance bin of their local Maplin, or a good buy at their local market. After countless fruitless attempts to see if my local tesco/sainsburys have the current deals in stock, I now don't even bother looking. If people actually voted hot/cold based on whether the deal was actually in stock for them, these deals would be ice cold.

got these in aa & aaa last month for £3.25 a pack with a printed shelf ticket "reduced to clear", seen in 2 separate tescos, but never bothered posting as the geese complainers would have shown up. will look in same stores and see if they have been further reduced - was enough of a bargain for £3 so thanks op !
they also had fast charging wallplug chargers with 2xaa and 2xaaa for £3.75 so eyes open for them
