Don't see the point in this, by the 3rd glass, the fizz has gone.. Got to throw the rest away. That's why we normally stick to cans..

I thought I was the only one who threw a bottle after a couple of glasses
I never put it back in the fridge

It helps to keep its fizz if you keep it cold in the fridge
Also squeezing the bottle before putting the top back on to get rid of some of the air helps stop the CO2 escaping the drink, providing the bottle doesn't get shaken enough in the fridge to inflate back up.
2L bottles would be better, but not at the over inflated prices some supermarkets are now charging.

They limit these like this based on the logic to restrict small local businesses from buying in bulk and reselling them which in turn would affect consumers that buy them for personal consumption from buying any due to them going out of stock. Although it's pointless as what would stop you from buying 4 and walking out and then buying another 4 at another till. :joy:
