Fair play. I tried a few months back to match a 3 deal and was given the "your paying for the fastest network" patter. I'm still in contract so tired and bound by their pricing. Will see what they can offer when it's running short. Nice deal though.

I am at the end of my contract. I selected the 'thinking of leaving us' option when calling 150. I said I'd seen it online and he said he'd match it, didn't take much negotiating at all.He said it's a max plan too, and can be used in the US and Aus for free.

This is good I've found Web chat to be the best option for weedling deals within a month of taking the famous 5 monthly deal they doubled the data on both. Now on 124gb for 28gbp

There's also 12GB for £14/mo. Right now I'm paying £19.50 for 20GB from EE but it's a little too much for me right now, so I might call them up tomorrow and ask about it.

Just to confirm, I have just got the same deal £17.99 - SIM Only Max 30GB from an online chat. My contract was due to end at the end of the month and they first offered it for £25, but I haggled them down to £17.99 so it's on their system at that price.

I was in ee 20gb plan with a new phone for like 40 but with Vodafone and a brand new phone I get 60gb plus sky sports for 4 pounds more.. maybe not quite as fast on internet but a more reliable signal everywhere I have been

I'm paying £27 a month for 2 x contracts with unlimited calls texts and a shared data of 30gb on their 4g+. I get around 130mb speed where I live in London, cannot complain at all.

I just took out a sim only deal with them. Don't forget if you are a Lloyds or Halifax bank customer you get £50 cashback for taking a contract out with EE.

I cancelled both my contracts with EE this week to join 3. They told me that they cannot match the offer but shouldn't leave as they have the fastest 4G

After a bit of to and fro and getting them to finally ask retentions they are doing the deal for me this second.

Just out of my last 12 month SIM only contract (so on a rolling basis now), was paying £20 a month for 16GB data went on live chat passed through to upgrades and sorted within 5 minutes no need to bargain just had to read the legal stuff about cooling off etc and agree.

Really good timing as recently I have constantly been hitting the 16GB!

I left EE last week for Three. Because they wouldnt offer me anything close to the £18 Ulimited Tex/Talk and 30GB data offer (£65 Cashback also)

The best they could offer me was something like £19.99 for 20GB and £21.99 for 30GB. I have been with them a long time, about 15 years. So told them where to go. Three been good so far.

Best Speed i have got with EE in my area was about 50MB ... 1st test with 4G on three. 101.99 Down 23.52 up. 3 times the speed of my FTTC connection at the house LOL

I went to retentions and I had two sims for £12 each as a family plan.

Same here So called up again and spoke to someone else in retentions who stepped up to the plate and actually checked for new deals, and I signed up.

when i moved back i caled sales as had a contact a few years prior. They configured a deal

£16 per month . Max Plan 12 GB ULT Mins and Texts BT Sport etc.

Id say call and negotiate as they have different products they can sell at different times.

EE had a 25GB SIM only deal, so I quoted a better price from Three on their live chat and they gave me a voucher code for 20% off. Cashback was through Quidco for £75.

Wouldn't let me do it as my contract isn't for for renewal till February.

That's exactly the opposite of me, rang three and told them I'm on 64gb for 14.50 and wanted 100gb for 15. They told me they can't negotiate a deal like that and it's 25. I keep trying every month with three but it's always the same story. Would love that 6gbp deal that some have got but I need at least 32gb for my HD Russian EPL 3pm sat football streams so it's hard to take a lower data cheaper deal that won't leave me short on data. Someone asked about Web chat it comes up when your on my EE. If you've paid them for 5 months they'll give you anything I only got another sim on the next 5 month window for our 30gb deal and they doubled that one month after doubling the other both times saying the same I was a good customer. The chat is foreign operatives btw

They gave cashback offers. If you go online to your account it should show all the offers. EE is one of them. £50 cashback if you take a contract with EE.

Thanks for sharing, but that means the original deal for your 25GB plan before applying your 20% code was £17 p/m which was already a good deal. I've been looking for EE deals over the last month and didn't notice any £17 p/m deal. I'm guessing I understood wrong?

How are you managing to go on live chat as an existing customer? Every time I use EE live chat, it tells you to call 150 as they can't access existing customer details over live chat for security reasons.

And when I answer the Live Chat question as a new customer and ask for a price match, the live chat assistants always fobs you off by saying that EE can't do price matches as there's no other provider that can 'match their service, speed and coverage'.

Yep, just got this for all 3 of us here in our family - we were on £16.66 for 16GB, now all of us on same as you. Took her a while to find the deal but she got there :thumbsup: . Very good with the BT Sport and Apple Music too.

Got this on all three of my sim only plans

With the deal you must go through to retention department and they will apply two discounts to the line rental, the original price is 41.99 but they add a 24 pounds discount to get the line down to 18 pounds it took me several attempts to get it but the deal the exisit just not explained correctly on how to attain it. The SIM plan is called 4Gee max sim which is listed on site at 41.99. the ee operator said it was only available through there department. Hope this help :smile:

I went on live chat, I have 2 numbers on my contract and ended up with 26.99 per month total for unlimited calls/texts on both sims, 30gb shared between sims, 12 month bt sport and 6 months Apple music. I was offered this immediately and just accepted so not sure if I could have got better if I had tried. I'm happy with the price anyway.

You are getting fobbed off entirely my friend! They asked for full name, last 4 of account number that direct debit comes from and the last phone model I upgraded to, for the security questions. Fobbed me off with 30gb is £24.99 down from £40.99 and can't price match 3, but then "went to speak to the manager" when I asked about leaving. Came back 3 mins later with the answer I was looking for.

I was out of contract, and used up all my 16GB data for the month, rang up for some data add ons, found out they were poor value for money, threatened to leave, got put through to cancellations, the guy checked my current price plan, saw that I had £15 worth of loyalty credit (previous plan was £35 but only pay £20), he then found the £26 sim only plan (currently available till 3rd October) and simply changed my plan over to that, thus keeping my loyalty credit. No contract renewal (infact, it left me with 22GB to use up before my next billing cycle, which was in 2 days) and free BT Sport with data speeds of 100megs d/l and 60meg u/l in 4G areas. Happy days. :thumbsup:

And what happened when you phoned them?

On the app it shows my plan being £13 for the sharer SIM and the max plan being £41.99. I was told the sharer SIM will be £9 and the max plan will be £17.99. I think the discounts will show on my bill.

Three uk are doing 100gb £23.Thats 30gb hotspots and the 70gb data then you get unlimted data for netfix and a few other things.

Just tried to get this myself, however they said I was midway through my contract and had to wait for another 10 months.

However they gave me an extra 3GB of data for free.

And the other day I managed to get student discount on my contract even though they said it was impossible to add on current contracts. And only available to new contracts.
Now have 23.5GB and unlimted calls and texts for £16.80

Does anybody know if this deal, (or something similar) is available for new customers aswell? The cheapest deal I've found so far for new customers on EE is 20GB for £20 :disappointed:
I am currently on an EE contract you see, but it's not in my name (it was taken out for me by a friend about 2+ years ago, but the payments come out of my bank each month). Ive been overdue an upgrade on it for the last few months, and am currently getting a rubbish deal, paying £39.99pm for only 4GB of data (which I go over considerably in data every month). It was originally for a iPhone 6+. We weren't sure how to switch it in to my name (and it seems very difficult to sort out), so I'm thinking I'll have to get him to cancel it and take another out in my name. If anyone has any suggestions for good pay monthly sim on EE with 20GB+ off data it would be very much appreciated :smile:

Just did this even though my contract doesn't end until November. The 'upgrade' button was available online and I chose to chat. Sorted in 10 minutes - 30GB on EE Max. Lovely stuff. £2 less than I was paying for £10 more data on a better plan. Thanks OP.

For £21 you can get 20GB on EE. In my opinion it's the best network but Three are way cheaper and you'll get more data. Really depends on your average usage per month.
