I get 10gb data, 2500mins, 500mins 0845/0870, unlisted txts for £13.55

This will give me more but tie me in a 12 month contract.

Just rang Virgin & I can get the 20gb deal for £14 but loose the 0845/0870 calls.

Hmm I have two separate contracts with EE and pay 37 quid for both. Wonder if I could change them to this one and have one card for me and one for my wife. She uses wifi only anyway so all data for me.

Called them a few minutes ago, the guy immediately knew about the price matching Three deal (30gb/unlimited/unlimited) at £17.99. I asked about a Share SIM and he said the best he could do was £9 a month extra, so £26.99 as the OP suggested. Going to call back and give it another go, if not I will get a PAYG SIM from 1p mobile as I probably won't get £9 worth of value from the second SIM.

How much would one SIM cost a month? £13.50?

I have 3 sims sharing 30gb data - unlimited mins etc. Works out with discounts at £12.50 per sim

It good if you want minutes as well, but now I've got my Xiaomi redmi note 4 I prefer the 2 Sims myself one for data one for calls. Currently on 64gb data only for 14.50 and my sister is on 60gb data only for 13.50. if you can't buy a Chinese phone and wait till Jan 8th then do this

As far as I am aware...sharing the plan only allows the leader plan holder to use minutes and data abroad in america and Europe...is this the same with this deal

When I was using a sharer SIM with EE only the main SIM was able to roam. That was a deal breaker for me so I changed to seperate contracts.

Spoke to them this morning and the guy was saying the 20gb shared plan comes to £27.90 -he wasn't able to give a price like 26.99 for the £30gb one. Is this a retention deal by chance?

No - you can use data on the additional SIM while roaming, but not mins/sms. But you can whatsapp call, skype or whatever and this will be covered by the shared data allowance.

Yes just call them up - I have read that people have mentioned the Three deal to them, and they have matched it, which lead to this price. Just say that your friend was given this deal yesterday (me), it shouldn't be too difficult.

Tell them your friend got the deal yesterday - and they will do it, others on here have had success.

It seems as though this is the luck of the draw with the agent you're speaking with. I've tried 3 times now (2 by phone, 1 time chat), and all say that they do not price match against Three, or that there is no such deal available. When mentioning another friend had it, I had one person request their number so that they can see what plan they are on. Oh well... heat if you can get it!

If you make international calls and usually pay for it then I would say keep your existing contract with Virgin and use WWW.MAKEFREECALLS.CO.UK. You can utilise your 500 minutes to 0870 NUMBERS and call over 70 countries for FREE.

You can wait till 8th Jan and look for EE deal on here that's 30gb for 15, then after one month ask webchat that your running out of data and they gave be a free doubling up so 60gb for 15 the 13.50 is 10% off for second line so not sure you'd get that but get in with a friend

Confused also, why do you need to wait till 8th of Jan, what's the significance of that date?
And why are you assuming there will be a deal for 30GB at £15?

just got back from Miami using the Max plan, 4G signal roams on T-mobile. The data was a bit slow mostly getting around 10mbps. Not sure if that was ee capping it or just crappy data speeds in general in the Miami area. Either way it was better than nothing

Amazed people are finding this so difficult, I just called and asked for them to match my 3 price as I get no signal at work and they did it, this was two weeks back. First bill attached.

Every five months this deal comes up last time it was on first Monday august 2017 the time before was first Monday march 2017. If you project 5 months in the future you get January first Monday 2018. Of course there's no guarantees but you get 5 days to get the offer just make sure you search on hotukdeals for EE deals on January 8th to January 13th.

I already had 2 sims on my account and I got this offer a couple of weeks ago. Both my contracts had ended though. I did it through online chat, just said I didn't want to pay so much and told him what data we use. He suggested this deal straight away with bt sports for 12 months and 6 months Apple music.

I'm with EE currently but out of contract. I just called retentions and told them that I had seen the deal on a 3rd party website. They asked me for details so I explained. My explanation was actually incorrect as I hadn't read the details properly. The agent then went on to inform me of the correct deal (the one posted here) and then that was it. Easy :thumbsup:

OK. Just to let everyone know - this deal can be got through live chat as I have just ordered it. I am near the end of my contract but not within cancelation period so it was not a retentions deal. I did not threaten to leave but just enquired about shared sim deals. I spoke to a great advisor called Adam and asked about the shared sim deals on the max plans. At first he offered this deal at £33.99 per month all in. I then sent him a link to this discussion so he talked to his manager. He told me this was a limited time deal but he would honour it for me. So I got an extra sim card for my partner with 30gb of data to share and unlimited calls and texts. It is on the Max plan so we get the fastest data speeds. The total cost per month for both accounts comes to £26.99. I think what clinched the deal for me was linking this discussion thread to the advisor so he had evidence to show a manager. So, if you want to have a go - get on online chat.

My thinking is that it works best if you're an existing customer (even if you're not threatening to leave).

ive tried to mention other networks deals dozens of times and I was always told that EE is better and that's why its more expensive

I have 2 sims for almost 10 years and as it would be an upgrade it will cost me more than I pay now.

Have just made the call; this is £17.99 per month 30GB MAX plan – the sharer SIM is £9/month at the moment... so if you don't care for the sharer SIM, that's the deal.

I was told that its 13 per month for sharer if you are existing customer because it's treated as an upgrade

Its a valid offer - it is a retention offer though, 30GB & an add line sharer sim. Its not however 15GB each - its first come first served. So if one number uses the whole lot, tough.
