Got mine today - the video quality is dire, there's no way it's true 1080p, recorded footage spoofs your video player by stealthy interpolation - I have 10 year old phones which produce better video.
My 3 year old £40 SJ4000 is in a different league, albeit suffering from the ubiquitous poor quality/intermittent buttons.
Anyone tried to change the firmware on these yet - I doubt it will make any difference, the actual video chip dictating the final quality I guess.
You get a lot of hardware for your thirteen quid - a pity it's all so pointless ...

So could I use this as a portable camera for my little one? Presumably I can watch this through my phone? As a live feed?

Exactly what I'm doing with it. Mine works with wifi assuming I've got the right model!
I already have one of these for sticking to the side of my car with a suction holder. Quality is ok but not on a par with GoPro.

How easy is it to set up? Did it come with instructions?

For me it was straight forward - on iPhone...
1. download the app ZSANYCAM 2. Turn on camera and have the connect to wifi screen ready on the phone 3. Press the top button on the side of the camera and it will switch to the wifi connect screen on the camera 4. You should then see the camera appear on the wifi list - connect to it 5. Switch to the camera app and away you go...
You can operate it this was without an SD card but won't be able to record.
The instructions that came with it were pretty clear tho.

Mate did you get a car mounting kit included? I didn't.... Not that that's my intended use but I like options!

Mine turned up today. They are what you expect for the price. Will use mine as a baby cam . Plenty sufficient for that . Recommen from me

Be very careful when dealing with this company. When they're got your details they download an app which can't be removed from an Andriod device.

I ordered one for my recent holiday but decided to also buy a gopro session. this one is surprisingly ok for the money and I will use it as a dashcam (as it has that function, turn on and record when it receives power) If you are going to do something really cool, I'd spend more but if you just want to try out an action camera then its great for the money

What's up with all these new sites appearing, are they just alternatives/clones to Banggood and Gearbest?

I wouldn't bother tbh. Maybe I got a duff one but the video and photo quality are terrible. Mine says 1080p recording but it's no where near that. Photos come out really pixelated. Didn't expect much for price so not surprised it's so bad.
