Is this live? Your link took me to a generic Sainsburys Nectar page and when I logged into Nectar, there seems to be a placeholder Sainsburys offer with no decription, no picture, no claim button and an expiry date of 21/01/18.

Not on my Nectar App either.
Shame it's not the Nectar bonus points (minimum 200) on £10 spend on both fuel and store purchases.... that was a brilliant offer!!

Not wortg the effort. Can save more on real money by shopping elsewhere. Sainsburys is an expensive place to shop nowdays. Even Waitrose is cheaper and better value on a large number of items.

It's not an effort. You log into the account and activate it. If the effort is actually going to sainsburys, that's different.

Yep. Not sure what happened at Sainsburys. They got rid of Brand match and a whole host of other things 'in order to pass the savings on into the general pricing of products'. However, it never seemed to have never happened. Yet, if you look at places like ASDA, the exact same branded product can be ~50% cheaper, and that's not even in an offer. Also, ASDA still do price match (and I believe Tesco too?)

We don't have an Asda or a Tesco superstore in my town and Morrisons is a dump so I've always been a Sainsbury's shopper. I always have £100+ nectar points by Xmas to use on my big Xmas shop. It's not that expensive if you don't buy rubbish. Meat/fruit/veg is very reasonable IMO.

You need to spend £1 for each swipe, I go to the self-service till and split my shop into 4

it doesn't say make 4 visits, it says swipe 4 times. Just split your shopping on the conveyor or buy 4 things at £1+ each
I've got 200 points on my next visit to Sainsburys local so I'll buy 4 pints of milk for £1 and get the equivalent value back in points = free milk

It's amazing that Sainsburys are still in business from a pricing point of view. They are greedy. Similar products (no less quality) are much cheaper elsewhere particularly at Lidl and Aldi. Sainsburys make Tesco seem cheap which they certainly are not.
