"Celebrating 70 years of scampi" I'm pretty sure I'd want a change.
2 for £5 in Asda if handy.

Reformed despite the product name suggesting otherwise
Even at half price, it's still around £22 per kg for the actual reformed scampi
Think I'd rather be buying fillet steak at that price

Well done chocci, at least u now seem to have understood the difference between reformed scampi - which u implied in your first post - and the product as advertised 'jumbo clusters of whole scampi tails'. I think its pretty clear what this product is from the advertising.
Scampi comprises the crustacean and the coating, hence the cost of the product is £9.33/kg (or £9.34/kg if rounded up).

Its still reformed from pieces of whole tail scampi! Is it really that hard to understand? It's not whole tails of langoustine (Dublin bay prawns)
Look up the word clusters in a dictionary lol

Just had my Young's jumbo whole scampi and it was delicious. I had a whole tail crustacean in each piece, and there were eleven of them, so not bad for 220g. Its not reformed or are u that stupid u are incapable of understanding the difference?
I also checked the crustacean content of other brands of scampi. 41% is good. Many other brands have only 30% crustacean content.
Have u actually tried this product chocci? if not u are coming across as an internet bore who needs to get out more.

Great spot OP, heat added. Will have for tea tonite as scampi is a real favourite.
Why the misinformation chocci?
At £2.12 for 220g that works out at £9.63 per kg (full price would be £19.32 per kg)
The product packaging states it's wholetail scampi. It would be against consumer law to state this if it was not the case.

its only 41% scampi hence the £22 per kg for the actual crustacean content
Description
Jumbo Clusters of Whole Scampi Tails with Added Water Coated in Breadcrumbs
This means it is formed from pieces of wholetail scampi
to be the real wholetail scampi, its generally called 'Whole wholetail scampi or single wholetail scampi'. Strange but true.
