This is a fine jumping off point. Chronologically speaking, it's the first game in the series.
It's also a masterpiece of gaming goodness, so I suggest getting on it at the first available opportunity.

Was thinking of giving this a go but being a complete newcomer to the series I guess it might be a bit hard to get Into.

Poor game in my opinion, just not for me maybe. Glad I managed to get this for £14 on Prime Day so I could make a profit.

Likewise.... I tried to like it. Story was actually quite good. But the game play, dated graphics, subtitles and overall feel put me off. Maybe if I had spent more time playing it, would have enjoyed it marginally more. But with a stack of better games to play, didn't have a chance.
Not for me but heat for many who like it.

.....unless royal mail is delivering. First class isn't next day delivery just because it usually gets there next day, thats why they have the next day delivery service.

Sure, it's not guaranteed, but typically RM do hit the one-day target. Both my experience and the official stats back that up.
