I bought 4x for £95 love it it's faster than any iPhone and similar as my one plus 3 Love the infrared makes life so much easier and battery lasts for ever nearly double than any smart phone, Only complaint is there is no icon for all apps like normal Android phone. So finding an app from 200 installed apps could be frustrating

But thats the risk you take buying from any chinese firm be it banggood, gearbest, aliexpress, geekbuying you were just unlucky to get picked out anyway what value did they put on the package was it the same as you paid them for the phone or less

The put item value of $22 and stated it was an MP4 player as a gift, then on back put a sticker saying it was a leagoo mobile phone :O
I will not use them again anyway. Just warning others that once they have paid for their item they risk getting a further customs tax too making your cheaper phone more expensive than you thought, Not always a deal then is it ?

dryspuri to BUCKUM2
18 Aug 17#28
Only took 9 days to deliver, i got 128 gb version, now i am on MIUI 9, but was surprised as my EE sim used to have wifi calling and VOLTE, but in mi6 i get only vVoLTE and not wifi calling, am i missing something, or some hidden setting i cant find
irradiated to dryspuri
22 Aug 17#36
From what EE told me you have to buy a phone from them to get wifi calling and then its only certain models

Beware of using Banggood, Me and the Mrs ordered a Leagoo mobile and then had to pay post office £11.36 each to get our mobiles due to customs charge. It was a percentage of the value they put on the outside of the package. Our phones were only £63 each so you can expect this deal adding HMRC alot of extra tax.
Anyone else had similar from banggood ?

What do you reckon to that screen protector? I purchased one through AliExpress and it was rubbish, also most on Amazon have terrible reviews. As the edge of the screen is curved I found mine impossible to install without air bubbles around the edge.

Good news for those after a budget phone, bought a note 4 for my nan for about £120 and it's better than anything I could have bought in the UK for that sort of money. The mi range is the flagship though!

Cracking phone but I prefer to purchase through AliExpress (HK Goldway), have ordered 2 through them, arrived in a week and half, no customs bill, perfect condition.
If anyone is mulling over this versus the One Plus 5, I found the mi6 camera to be better. Particularly the portrait mode, which has the best fake bokeh effect I have seen on a phone.

These are v.good phones value wise but I always worry about Chinese malware and the cameras are weak in lower light .. personally I get the latest and greatest Samsung 1 gen back for a similar price fingers x

I have the 64gb model of this phone from this seller,it came with latest official global rom and google services installed, and no malware what so ever ran malwarebytes and mcafee and nothing at all. This is my second xiaomi phone also have the redmi note 3 running the official Chinese rom had it since launch 18 months ago, and again no malware. The only time you get malware on a xiaomi phone is if it has a vendors custom rom

Reviews generally say good, expecially for the price. But, as you have a LG G2 & now appear to have upped your budget, I think you should stick to a LG or other locally-sourced phone with a good-excellent camera. EGC had that very good offer for the G6 recenlty: LG G6 H870DS 64GB Dual sim SIM FREE/ UNLOCKED - White £305.99 @ eglobal (currently the cheapest is ~£322 with voucher). It has inferior specs to this Mi6 for similar money, but I think will suit you better overall.
