Anyone know what this is like compared to a basic fitbit?

Bought 2 and showed my mates who say they do more than the Fitbit at a fraction of the price. Very happy with them and no problems at all. Downloaded app and connects perfectly, also can use them to compare stats with your friends.

Great for use as a watch, step counter, heart rate monitor (on demand only), sleep tracker (not sure how it tracks this but it seems accurate for sleep start and finish) and can vibrate on phone app notifications (text email, call and WhatsApp used by me currently) a full charge lasts about two weeks and takes about an hour to full charge from empty. I use one, the wife does and so does the mother in law. Ebay have a range of custom silicone bands to use if black (default) gets boring. Highly recommend.

Do you know if there's a way of making notifications stay on the screen for longer?
Or if it's possible to see recent notifications after they've disappeared from the screen?

Brilliant price. Just ordered my 6th one now since January as keep getting them for gifts or friends want to buy one so its handy to have a spare for when the next person wants one.

Let the battery run completely flat before you try to pair it again. It seems letting it run down completely resets the band. It might take several weeks though!

1 Sep 17#128
Thanks, had tried that before but no luck. Thought I would give it one last chance so waited weeks for it to run down, left it a week, charged it up again and now the time is half an hour out and apparently I've done thousands of steps before I even got up! Oh well, my new one has arrived now so hopefully it will pair ok.

Same here. My Wife and I both have one. Been unable to pair them since the Update. Ran the batteries down and still no joy. Someone suggested putting in the freezer after battery has depleted so as a last ditch attempt they will be going in there once the batteries have ran down again.
They were great when they worked though.

I've had mine for a few months now and it's a good bit of kit, seems quite accurate. For anyone that cycles or runs etc. the app has just been updated to track your sessions and captures distance, speeds and monitors heart rate too which I was very impressed with. All this for just over £12, absolute bargain imo ☺

Gearbest ripped me off on this deal when I ordered. The code worked fine in the cart back in the 12th. The price dropped and I chose Paypal for payment, then logged in to pay. The total in Paypal was listed in US dollars so I didn't notice they'd removed the discount until checking my emails the next day. (I'm on hold, so not checking so often). I emailed Gearbest to complain, asked for refund or cancellation, got no reply. Emailed again a day or two later and they're saying it's dispatched, so tough luck. I have been avoiding Gearbest due to their reputation. Should have stayed away, I guess. I'll have to try raising a complaint with Paypal now.

I highly recommend the notify and fitness app, as well as the standard official Mi Band app. Well worth around the £1.50 it cost me. Allows you to do so much more with the Mi Band 2 than the standard app. Allows GPS tracking when connected to a GPS enabled phone, constant heart monitoring as well as loads more options and tweaks for notifications etc. play.google.com/sto…nd1

Great price. Compares very well with V1 Fitbit Charge HR. Much longer
battery life for a start. Neither of them give reliable heart rate
figures for me, but neither do any others I've tried. I do have quite hairy arms - perhaps I should try shaving that area.
Only thing I'm not keen on is
that it only shows your step count at the point you touch the button.
You can't watch it increase as you step, which you could on the Fitbit.
Very minor point, but it annoys me sometimes.
The battery life
is the real winner for me. With the Fitbit, I only wore it about 75% of
the time. The rest it was either charging, or I'd forgotten to get it
off the charger and wear it. There's also the point that neither are
guaranteed waterproof for showering, but the MiFit is cheap enough that
I'm prepared to risk it. That means it spends less time on the shelf in
the shower room when I've forgotten to put it back on.

So I ordered this when the deal was originally posted and the code worked perfectly, but didn't work since then so I've assumed it was a one use per account code. But after seeing this in the hottest deals for the 100th time this month I gave the code another go and it worked! Used the same gearbest account I always do! Not sure how it works but definitely worth a try, at this price the band is a steal.

This is a great product the offer really works, but there are delivery charges which isnt representive of the £10.80 stated that the cost of the device is, ultimately its still cheaper than standard price so its still a win win

I bought 2 in the last year. One stopped paring after 6 months. Unpaired it and left it off for 3 months, it revived itself afterwards. The other one stopped pairing after 3 months, unpaired it, drained the battery, then managed to pair it again, except this one sensors are giving me unrealistic tracking info since then. Those who say nothing wrong with it, wait few months then let me know how that goes

I just ordered one of these this morning around 10 AM, just purely trying my luck. The code was valid, so obviously it seems to be hit and miss. Just keep trying I suppose. I doubt it's this as it's under the £15 limit and even if it wasn't you only pay 20% VAT so even with a handling charge it can't be this unless they valued it at like 5x the price. I'd dispute it if you've not ordered anything else. Mines not even been dispatched yet and I ordered a week ago, they said they have no stock.

Or if it's possible to see recent notifications after they've disappeared from the screen?
Just ordered my 6th one now since January as keep getting them for gifts or friends want to buy one so its handy to have a spare for when the next person wants one.
still loving mine, battery life more like 2-3 weeks now, was more like 3-4 weeks when I got it, but looks like it will last well beyond a year!
PS: If anyone has any ideas for re-pairing apart from the obvious ones, please let me know!
Oh well, my new one has arrived now so hopefully it will pair ok.
They were great when they worked though.
For anyone that cycles or runs etc. the app has just been updated to track your sessions and captures distance, speeds and monitors heart rate too which I was very impressed with. Not to mention the battery life between charges is brilliant....about 3-4 weeks for me.
All this for just over £12, absolute bargain imo ☺
Heat added and well deserved
Tho I came to this offer from hukd on WhatsApp if you don't have that already x
Quite impressed with the notification options actually, being able to specify minimum hotness etc... pretty cool, I'll probalby use it a lot now I've sene how it works.

"Redemption You have been purchased over £23.17, and you can increase the redemption of 2 item"
...why am I getting the above message when I try to just buy the watch? How do I remove the 'redemption'?
So just waiting for next promo
is there anybody updating this site?
Only thing I'm not keen on is that it only shows your step count at the point you touch the button. You can't watch it increase as you step, which you could on the Fitbit. Very minor point, but it annoys me sometimes.
The battery life is the real winner for me. With the Fitbit, I only wore it about 75% of the time. The rest it was either charging, or I'd forgotten to get it off the charger and wear it. There's also the point that neither are guaranteed waterproof for showering, but the MiFit is cheap enough that I'm prepared to risk it. That means it spends less time on the shelf in the shower room when I've forgotten to put it back on.
Why???
Paid for it.
EXPIRED!!!!! code makes it £27 or am i missing something?
tried this several times last few days
Will try again on the off chance.
Submitted a support ticket and the the support team apologised but provided the wrong amount to discount, so I've had to correct them again....will keep u all updated. Well done for those who managed to get through without a hitch, but this has been a nightmare for me which is a shame as I've used Gearbest for years without any problems.
any other code !!
This is what I did:
- Go to product page
- Add to basket
- Add code to basket and apply
- It asks you to login, so I did.
- Takes you back to basket with no discount
- Apply code again
- It works
- Submit order
1- sign up for a new AliEx account and you get a $4 voucher off of a $20 spend.
2 - buy their cheapest mi band 2 for about £17 (over $20)
3 - the $4 discount is applied
4 - you get the mi band for £13.70 delivered
Got sick of waiting to get it on Gearbest for a tenner. I'll bet some of you are too!
Just checked my emails and I ordered it at 13:46 so maybe there is some kind of time limit involved.
Use getdeal
Cheers
