Really good quality hair trigger mod for the standard Xbox one controller.
I'm sick of my Elite controllers breaking, and this was the main function I use, these have rubberised grip and easy to use hair triggers activated via red switch.
Come with a tool for removing the side panels from your controller and these mods snap into place easily, so save yourself some cash and just buy these rather than the Elite.
Elite controller: £100-£120 Mod grips: £13.99
There are other mods for your controller on this website, I chose the 4 day second class free delivery, it came the next day. Good service.

They're pretty rad.
I've never had an issue with my Elite controller, but I'll definitely get a pair of these for my other pad.
Thanks!

Sorry to ask but their website is a little vague on the subject, what does the hair trigger mod do exactly?

Looks like its a trigger stopper. Stops the trigger so you can tap it faster (i.e. you only depress it to the point of action rather than til it bottoms out)

Hi there, a hair trigger basically restricts the movement of the trigger meaning it doesn't pull back fully, essentially for FPS and third person shooters, not for racing games etc (although this mod lets you disable the hair trigger for racing). It means you can fire your trigger with a hairs movement, basically firing a lot quicker and hopefully faster than your opponent can

Thank you both for the advice, I'll give it a try then

I think there's a few other features that the Elite has than just hair triggers. Erm, like the 4 paddles on the back and interchangeable sticks. The hair triggers were the last feature I cared about with my Elite.

These are the Bionik ones which are a US company. What's far more interesting is the elite dpad and paddles kit that Bionik announced at Christmas which have never materialised. It just says coming soon. bionikgaming.com/col…ver

Just a heads up i wouldn't have thought these will work on the One S pads as they are different triggers.

Should do the white one pictured in the advert is likely a newer controller plus there's a guy who reviews these on youtube and used a newer controller to fit these to and works fine.

Not the same as a proper Elite controller but not a bad idea if youre stuck with a standard one. I hope the switch lets you switch the trigger on and off because it depends on what game you are playing...

I've given up on the Elite ones, after 7 of them with the same fault... fractured alloy thumbstick bases or bust shoulder buttons I'm done, if I go back to more expensive ones I'll be buying Scuf or Evil Controllers.

Ahh, not heard that yet, I'll see what they're like, probably still go Scuf TBH, not those awful gaudy colours though, a nice understated one, the Elite does have lovely styling.

Look at that wraparound grip, that does look nice.

Can't quite see from the image, but it'd be awesome if you could access the new style thumbsticks and remove the whole mechanism (including ball part) from the top like the Scuf ones, would help with replacement of the bits that have the issue of fracturing, unless they've managed to fix that totally.

The whole faceplate clips on and off so you don't need those scuf style thumbstick rings because you can just whip the cover off yourself without any screws to worry about.

Ahh, nice, that's a good feature, looks like they've improved it substantially then.

This is great! Thanks for the post. I personally returned my Elite controller because I didn't like the weight/feel of it. The only thing I really missed was the trigger locks for FPS games, so this is perfect for me :raised_hand:
