Although it contains no sugar, it contains theartificial sweeteners Aspartame and Acesulfame K, as well as otheradditives including acidity regulator Trisodium Citrate, Dimethyl Di andcarbonate, plus colourings and Malic Acid. All these mean nothing to the layman but let's not be scared of sugar, it's a natural product and needed in moderation. Chemicals however were not meant for human consumption. It's tough being a parent in this fast food generation but we must practice the art of saying no, does our kids the world of good when they eventually grow up.

I was concerned about the proliferation of Aspartame in these, but I found a bit of info from fruitshoot.com/gre…aqs, namely:
Do you add sweeteners to Fruit Shoot?
Our Answer
We listened to Mums, and removed the sweetener, Aspartame, from our Fruit Shoots back in 2013.
We now use sweeteners, Ace K and Sucralose, in our Fruit Shoot and Hydro ranges. They add a little sweetness to make a great tasting drink for our little ones without adding the calories that sugar would.
Will be interesting to see what tomorrows (7 Day Deal) will be?

Get the kids hooked on these, then when you go for a family meal they'll automatically ask for them, meaning each round will now cost about £4.50 more.

Still not the best, but BETTER than Aspartame.
