Purchased one from eBay last week for £63.99 as that was the cheapest available.
Great bit of kit!

I can confirm that it does come in a good case. The next day after I placed the order Amazon were "pleased to report that the following item will dispatch sooner than expected". And it was delivered yesterday, on Sunday, three days later.

Does this one come without a carry case, unlike at Argos? gumtree.com/p/o…522

Thanks OP but a bit Pricey Any power tool from Lidl or Aldi comes with a 3 YEAR warranty. I was lucky enough to get one from Aldi for £20 and after 2 years of heavy use its still going strong I get the LIdl blades/accessories which are usually about £6-7 a pack.

It's actually pretty good value considering the quality of the tool but I appreciate there are always going to be cheaper versions of the same type of tool out there as well as more expensive ones. I did my research before settling in this particular one and chose it over a more expensive Makita which I could have got for around the same price.

I'm thinking of getting a similar machine but confused about what blades are best used around the house. I'm going to doing up my loft do it going to get used for lots of odd jobs. What about the blades and accessories they seem really expensive does anyone know which version of after market blades fit this machine ? Thanks guys.

You might be better off with something like a jigsaw if you're going to be cutting loft panels.
According to the company all blades will fit this machine.

can you use this for door latches, locks & hinges? sorry I know you can with chisels but would this make it easier?

Yes, with the correct blades. Score them with a Stanley knife blade first and it takes les than half the time thanusing chisels.

Yes I don't see why not. If you put those keywords into YouTube then you should see some multi tool demonstrations on those types of jobs

I've got to say, I got one of these the other day (after seeing it on hukd) and think it's cracking for the price -
If you're looking for one it's always good to read the reviews which are very favourable. I also watched some YouTube videos in which this performed very well in comparison to rivals.
It's the first multi tool I've owned but so I cannot personally compare it however I can say it has met each task I've asked if it so far!
