Just had an email saying 8 blades have been dispatched even though I cancelled My subscription. I already received the razor and blade so logged into Wilkinson sword and it does look like my subscription has been cancelled. Fingers crossed for 8 free blades!

First you have to select your subscription in the table. Even then it didn't work for me, just kept reporting an error. I thought I'd managed to delay the next delivery but an email this morning told me it has been sent and I have been charged so I used the online chat.
IF in doubt I suggest doing the same.

Had mine today I have the sensitive one. Looks lovely. Canceled my sub ten minutes after I ordered and still had blade and handle today :smile: been waiting over a week but CS kept me updated because they had a huge back log of Orders thanks to ukhd (_;) but yes sub definitely canceled

some people recommended not cancelling until your 1p razor was dispatched. We're cancelling the pending charge for the subscription not the 1p razor

Yeah done that ages ago! U have to wait at least ten minutes before you option is "un greyed" tho

Well u will b luking much wiser if u read above comments. We r not cancelling 1p one but all subsequent ones which charge £14 each time

I still haven't received my 1p razor despite ordering and paying the penny on 3 August. Gave them a nudge via email and they re-despatched this afternoon.

Mine shipped about an hour ago.. Time to cancel subscription!

Mine is still showing as 'Paid'. I ordered and cancelled subscription straight away. 1p left my account but no sign of delivery. When should I contact customer service to request my order or request 1p to be refunded :wink: ​

Woo - got this for my dad. Subscription cancelled, and today the razor came. Nice deal, not likely to stick with the subscription, but offers like this are what make it considered, so it's good of them.

Anybody else having problem cancelling the subscription? I go to my account and subscriptions, choose the current subscription and scroll down to cancel. After clicking cancel I get the pop-up "Are you....." I click Ok and it keeps going for ever without really cancelling it!! Any ideas?

Yes, you can use it straight outta the pack, and for the record MY razor arrived YESTERDAY (Saturday August 5th) SO...
1, I signed up to a subscription, and selected the package I "wanted" (type/how many/how often)
2, placed the order
3, some 10 minutes later, returned to the site "My Account", and scrolled down to where the option to CANCEL is now "live", and cancelled, it was that simple.

TBH I did expect something to go pear shaped with the order as I'd cancelled, but as I say, it arrived, boxed, on (I believe) a 48h delivery.

If yer wanna get a few more, yer could always have "friends" order 1 each :thinking:

I didnt mate. I had to call them and they confirmed it was error. £14.99 refund. Would have been full £15 if I hadnt called.

Lucky for Wilkinson Sword they limited the offer to one per customer, or profits for this year would be incredibly thin.
Indeed, the net figure gained for the company would be very, very small. One might go so far as to say that the amount of money generated would be marginal at best.

It really can't be overstated just how infinitesimally minute the financial benefit for the company would have been for 2017-2018 overall, if they did not implement in advance the requisite terms and conditions for customers who applied for this offer.

Had they failed to do so, it is no exaggeration to state that the analogical distance between the outer edges of the financial remainder would have been reduced to almost zero. Once the limited incomings vs the sizeable outgoings had been calculated, the third factor - i.e. profits - would have been of a width equal to less than that of a sheet of paper.

To illustrate, had those profits been rendered as a physical 3D model, it's width it would seem to the naked eye to have no breadth at all and would appear merely as an elongated, pointed edge.

And this sort of thing has happened before.

Just had my dispatched confirmation email so the order still stands and just the subs are cancelled.

They know what they're doing. A huge amount of people will keep buying the blades now they've got the razor. And they get people trying their product, so they can compare it to their current razor and hopefully decide it's better. Cheap and effective marketing really, compared to a TV ad campaign anyway!

Everybody that can't cancel all you need to do is click on the suscription in the order list then the buttons will become active (not greyed out)

Voted hot but won't work for me, keep getting something about payment invocation, which sounds nasty

If they are any good then £15 for 8 blades is a decent price compared to what Gillette are charging.

Cancelled subscription immediately. Got order confirmation in an email right after. Looks a good deal. Hopefully won't have to remortgage the house for blades like with Gillette fusion power.
