Where would be the best/safest place to sell one. I have the Zelda one but Game etc only offer same price as plain one.

Do these come sealed? so if you brought one and it was in a terrible condition you could return it for a refund?

Probably a 95% chance any used Wii U will have had the firmware updated. Nintendo encourage it, and actively pop up the option to update. Anyone with MK8 or Splatoon (almost everyone has at least 1 of those) will have hooked their Wii U up to the internet surely?

Isn't that for people that had already installed haxchi on 5.5.1? Or is there a very new method I have not seen yet?
Edit: just had a google and found it  thanks for heads up...couple of my mates will be happy as their consoles auto updated

Also, don't update the console's firmware to version 5.5.2 before looking into 'haxchi' (Google it)

Apologies. Now fixed. I blame the silly android app.

I just bought myself one of these. Was looking forward to the Switch but then saw the launch line-up and decided to wait. Bought one of these with MK8, Mario 3D and Zelda Wind Waker HD. Love being able to play on the Gamepad while the wife watches TV. Pretty much a Switch that you can't leave the house with.

Recently bought a preowned Wii U with Mario Kart. Impressed so far. Looking to get Smash Bros but it has held it value well, so this is a great deal

The condition of Game's 'fair' consoles seems to be inconsistent at best.
Mine came in a brown box, with missing accessories (no sensor bar, console stand or gamepad dock for instance); it was badly scratched and had a dented touchscreen on the gamepad.
I returned it to a store and got a replacement which was in nearly new condition and Mario Kart 8 was installed!
So, my advice is order online with instore collection so it can be checked before you take it home. If it's faulty, Game may swap it for a better one depending on what they have in stock.

To be honest, mine was a discounted one from CEX, and I had to go back for a power lead for the controller which they forgot to include. I didn't think it came with a sensor bar too! But mine came with MK pre installed too, so that was a bonus...
