If you fastrack (pay in advance) the phone at argos you can collect it without the need to top up. :sunglasses:
Edit*** my mistake...as per comment below this is NOT possible any more :poop:

you can't fastrack PAYG Phones at Argos anymore, just reserve to collect in store, £10 topup will be added to your bill automatically :nerd:

Is this 10.54 worth over 5 times the cost of the Alcatel 10.16 at Tesco...? So cheap they may probably soon be giving them away with packets of breakfast cereal.

10.54 has a camera. 10.16 does not.

Yep, I added that at the bottom when I edited - Asda asks you to sign in when you put anything in the Basket, so I don't know if they also do the compulsory PAYG top-up with a new phone? Most places do..
Edit: The original poster has put "no topup required" (re the Asda deal) now  The original post just said "cheap" - webcache.googleusercontent.com/sea…-ab

you have put 4.99 at Argos, but you can't get it for that price. OP put the right price straight away.Asda Groceries site does not require topup or sign up for Asda Mobile, but you need to spend min £40 for home delivery...
