Have just ordered this using code HJUNVS and 300 points that I got for a new account total cost £26.94.Went through Quidco and tracked at £2.42 so a total of £24.52 .
not the same model, camera is 0.3mp as opposed to 2 and also more expensive by £6.

Hello mate mine finally got dispatched, which company delivered yours? My tracking number isn't recognised by anything (starts in LW and ends in DE)

This item arrived on Saturday (from China, so about a week in the mail, tracked all the way). It cost $35.99 delivered (I paid for it in dollars from a US account, but I suppose that is about £26 to the current exchange rate). The drone itself is first class: removable battery, a good camera (needs a SD card) and very easy to fly. My son (aged 12) really likes it. I recommend this item, and at under £30 it was a bargain!

Back up to £40 now even from China :-( hesitated too long
Edit - bought it anyway, screw it - after looking at ALOT of videos I was sold on this model.
This guy seems to really like it and he has reviewed loads of multicopters.
Note - his version is the old 0.3MP one, not the 2MP in this deal. Search for videos with XS809HW (as opposed to XS809W) for reviews of the one on offer.

Annoying, I've never actually been looking for a drone but thought I would jump for this. Managed to get 300 points by registering but I couldn't use the point nor the 5% off codes. Missed out.
What sort of features should i look for in a drone? Would probably spend up to £30 but happy to hold out for a good one if it drops to that price.

Been thinking about getting the Mavic Pro for a while but this looks like the perfect cheap drone to get before really splashing out on the Mavic. Anyone recommend it?

This won't be anything like a mavic.
Get a hubsan h107 of some sort. Still the best trainer quad out there.
Still, if you're determined its £3 more from amazon. At least you'll get it this year and you can send it back when you find out its a bit pants
I can recommend the DJI Spark as a good starter drone with advanced options

Bought it while it was here last time. Lasted 2 days. We were flying it just outside the block of flats. Suddenly the drone decided no to listen to us anymore and just took off straight into the roof and landed on its back. Never been able to connect to it again. It is apparently known issue if you flying in an area with lot of wifi networks. It get's confused and you might loose control.

I got one of these the last time they were on here. It's not bad. Has survided being crashed at speed into a shed, tree, bramble bush, and play house.
The FPV camera works but is a bit choppy, not good enough to pretend you're a drone racer. It's cheap enough that I've no fear in handing it off to my 7yr old (supervised of course).
