You name it, they have it. 6GB Ram, 64GB storage + SD up to 256GB, Fingerprint scanner, Dual rear camera with Samsung Sensor, USB Type-C, FHD screen and don't forget the always mentioned B20 band.
Seriously considering this. But never spent this much on a phone handset before. I had a Doogee X5 from Gearbest so no worried about names. Got a Moto G4 at the moment on 2 yr tariff. Great phone but I have serious problem with phone making "ghost touches" on the screen all the time. So, I'm 1 year in, I either put up with it making random calls and launching random apps sometimes when it comes out of lock mode or buy this and send the G4 off for repair... hmmm ideally wanted to spend about half this amount tho. 4G more than 2gb RAM 5.5" screen - any suggestions other than this?

Ulefone has a pretty good record anyway as far as I'm aware But if you wanted to spend about half this you're really just buying piece of crap phones that probably aren't much better than just making calls and having a few apps on If you did want to stay with brand names the Moto G5 is really good, the Plus being even better but it's more expensive than this So I am actually kind of tempted by this but I'd like to find some reviews first, just to be safe

The obvious choice is the Xiaomi note 4 global version for apx £115. There is also the Umi Max I have posted for £84, only issue being you would need a micro sd card to make up for the 16gb memory.

Did you ever scan your Doogee with Antivirus ? Please see and tell how many you find

I have heard this quite a bit. Chinese phones are the devil for trojans/spyware etc. But in my experience then I had a doogee something or other ages ago and then a doogee X5 Pro and I had AVG antivirus on both and regular scans never picked up diddly on either handset.
If some mysterious triad organisation is that interested in the calling habits of a middle aged boring english bloke then they are welcome to my "most dialled lists" anyway.

might take the plunge as had my eye on the mars pro but the call quality is suppose to be below average which for a phone is criminal

If you are spending this much wouldn't it be best to go for a Xiaomi who are considered to be the best of the Chinese 'cheapies'?

you might be right but to get a Xiaomi with specs close to these you'd have to pay a fair bit more no ?

seems like a cracking deal, not brave enough to buy from China myself though, spec is great though

Pity, 99% of these Chinese-sourced phones with good to excellent prices for the specs have only average cameras.

I have a Ulefone power and it is a quality bit of kit. .My experience I would not hesitate recommending the Company.
The big brand companies over here all bring out their new models in August (expensive), so in theory August is the worst time to buy a phone. Though old models should come down in price.
With Chinese phones like Ulefone and Xiaomi you get more bang for your buck.

I too have heard that the cameras on Chinese brand phones aren't so good. Anyone got any experience of the camera and able to comment on the image quality? Also what support is is there for OS android upgrades/updates?

I have the Gemini Pro and planning on getting the T1. Only thing i would change is up the storage to 128Gb then give the SD card its own slot. Right now if you have dual SIM's you lose your SD card. Not perfect but it's getting there.

How did you find the Pro in terms of use , on paper it looks fantastic but heard some complaints about the user experience ?
