You can get two pairs of glasses or prescription sunnies (normal specs with free tints) for £17 delivered, if you use our MSE Blagged code MSE17SUMMER on top of two existing Glasses Direct* offers
Arms on one pair of glasses are totally splayed out....pretty sure that aint normal. Be nice if they cleaned the lenses before shipping. Mine were very grubby.
Think il stick to goggles4u next time.

Is the mse code expires? Tried it and nothing seems to happen but ops post implies it's the 2 for £49 offer that expires on 7th

Thank you for this, my very skeptical husband now has to live up to his promise of "If two pairs of glasses turn up in the post I will...."

ordered 2 last night - £41 with the silver lens package - anti glare is a must, specs are terrible otherwise with glare.
got an email today asking me to send a pic with a debit card on my forehead so that they can take a scaled measurement of my PD, LOL. I measured it (well my mrs did,) with a PD ruler which id have thought is more accurate.

Hmmm not sure what I am doing wrong - pick 2 for £49 - after picking cheapest lenses at £10
=> £49+£49+£10+10 - £49 -£32 = £37

Is the extra 12£ coating worth doing? Anyone purchased from this company thoughts?

I've bought from this company before, got prescription sunglasses and regular and have bought both with and without coatings and I've seen no difference. Unless you plan on dropping them or being in an environment that hazardous I wouldn't recommend the coating. :sunglasses:

I've had glasses from glasses direct with and without the coating and I've noticed a decent improvement on reducing reflection/glare from using on PC/driving with the coating.

Excellent. Need some proper reading glasses. The non-prescription Poundland ones can't be doing my eyes any good. Have booked a free eye test at Tesco for this Saturday.

So I take it you can't do the 7 day home trial with this because the frames would not arrive or be returned to them before the 7th of August?

you might be able to get frames on trial (without prescription lenses), then order if you like them before the code expires. but they do have a policy of return the glasses for a refund for whatever reason. or you should try out their frames every so often, and wait for the code to appear again.
