Got my card through, and by happy coincidence, this came through on my Facebook feed, and guess what, I get 50% entrance fee with the Arts pass, so that's 1/2 the price of that 3 months deal taken care of in one visit. And there is a Pink Floyd exhibition at the V&A (or is it the Tate? can't remember) I have my eye on, that will now be a further incentive to go!
Haven't a lot of these Museum things always been free though?, or .....
Just curious on the necessity of these Museum Pass stuff's? (even if it is only £10 for 3 months?).
Just curious, genuine question. :-)

It's a good deal. at Natural history museum, the temporary exhibit (whales) costs 12gbp. So you save already on the second museum

Always a great deal. The past year they've had this deal quarterly. Hope it continues next year

I like the picture of the Natural History Museum entrance hall and the comment in the linked website "The Natural History Museum has a famous collection of dinosaur exhibits and also holds research work and natural art - 50% off with National Art Pass!" Call me mad, but isn't it still free to go there ? It was last week when I went.

If you're referring to the Natural History Museum, then yes - it is free admission. This pass gives you 50% off the temporary exhibitions, if there is a charge.

Opps!, Sorry yes. Blame it in muscle memory, (I've been typing "National" a lot lately). It's actually not a bad deal if you are intrested in museums and art. I was commenting more on the fact that the website mentioned 50% off admission to the Natural History Museum (which is free anyway) and failed to mention anything about charged special events.
