It's not like either of those games at all. Comparing it to Diablo 3 would be like comparing Chess to Checkers based on the fact that their both played on a black and white checkerboard. It's very similar to the original Planescape Torment or the original Fallout games (not the dumbed down RPG-Lite FPS that Fallout 3 and 4 are) where a lot of the joy is in the nuance of the dialogue and where talking to people means a lot more than "give quest plz". It's a brilliant game if you want to delve into the lore and immerse yourself in an experience. If all you want to do is go from A-B slaughtering everything, avoid, you will hate the game. For people that want a little more depth to their game then this is a must in my opinion.

nothing like it, its like comparing apples to oranges both maybe fruit but are very different. this a text heavy game with little combat, its more about the story and your choices

I get more and more tempted every time I see this posted but then get put off by the fact that it's been described as a "text-heavy RPG"......I just want to kick ass, not read about it!

That's what put me off Divinity: Original Sin, so I guess I won't bother with this either.

Totally it looks more like a interactive novel, war and peace heft.

Divinity is great, this however was completely not up my alley. I was hoping it was MORE like Divinity (that game has great stories, really fun combat, world building etc - highly recommend), or closer to the lines of games like Baldur's Gate back in the day. It's almost an interactive novel. It's a lot of text, over and over, with more text than gameplay. The kind of game that rather than showing you what's happening just describes it in text. I stuck it out for about an hour then turned it off, very disappointed but probably should have done more research.

Divinity is very good, not too text heavy, but sounds like Shadow of Moroder is more your cup of tea,if you haven't already tried it.I enjoyed both, even though Shadow is more action than RPG.I was also surprised that I'm also enjoying Neverwinter on PS4.Free to download, and free to play,no PS subscription,if you want to play with others.l'm just playing alone, and it's not too bad.Don't have to pay for stuff if you don't want to.I expect it will get a bit repetitive, but can't complain for nothing!

Checked out a gameplay video, looks like the kind of game I'd like to play on PC.

If this is even half as good as the game that inspired it (Planescape Torment), £7.99 is an insult and if you are a fan of western RPG's you should buy this pronto.

Fabulous price but I'd say it's a heavily niche game reflecting the cost now
