eBay purchases aren't the most reliable at tracking. I assume that you have any adblockers disabled when using TCB's site (these can disrupt the tracking cookies)?
My £5 hasn't appeared. My ebay transaction also still hasn't tracked.

Top marks tcb. Will there be another bonus for the bank holiday weekend for ALL of us? You really would be the UK's most generous cashback site then.

Good Morning All,
It seems you clever folk managed to track down and activate a deal that was only intended to be for selected members of TopCashback.
Therefore, we had a decision to make and that was whether to be good eggs and to honour the cashback for those who activated the deal or to decline all of the bonuses for the members who were not in the selected group.
We’ve had a number of chats internally and in the spirit of ‘fair-play’ we have decided to award this bonus for any member who did manage to activate the offer and most importantly met the other terms and conditions of the offers.
We can’t always guarantee that this will be our decision if something happens in future but I hope this demonstrates that we really are the UKs most generous cashback site.
Best wishes, Matt and the whole TopCashback Team.

You don't have to use the screenshot - the rest of us can use it. Topcashback can't operate outside the law or commit fraud - end of. It's actually very simple and easy to prove on balance of probabilities, especially given the numbers of people involved.
Illusionary
16 Aug 17#168
While I'm not looking to say that the response from TCB is appropriate, the issue is that you can't prove to them, outside of whatever records TCB hold, that you clicked through to activate the promotion on your account. They also expressly state the following in the T&Cs:
TopCashback will not be held responsible for any technical failure or otherwise which prevents participation in this promotion.
Master_Yoda
16 Aug 17#167
We shouldn't even need the screenshot as there will be a record of the transaction including the time/date and the fact that they were running this well publicised promotion at the time. The screenshot showing the same image that everyone here was presented with when we clicked can only help if they try any nonsense. Every single person here who clicked and activated the promotion is a witness and saw the same page - they don't have a leg to stand on.
Illusionary
16 Aug 17#166
Surely this is exactly why a screenshot isn't going to change anything? There's no way to prove that it's taken from your own account - especially if it actually wasn't.
Master_Yoda
16 Aug 17#165
I would suggest posting the screenshot so that everyone can use it - I can't believe they would confidently lie to people and claim they didn't activate the promotion.

If it helps for future reference Argos tracks with the VAT.
That staff member guy who was posting for TCB before in the other threads acting as if TCB can do no wrong - where is he? He better come out and promise everyone they will get their cashback - all I can say. Not going to take any BS this time from TCB as this always happens - these retailers and TCB make a lot of money from us buying loads of extra stuff and can't just rip people off.

sadly that's the risk we all took since we didn't get the email. However, they will lose many customers as many emailed them (including me) asking before purchase but they never replied. I asked on twitter and they were replying everything except this question. So they were happy with the extra business. I wouldn't worry about that reply as bonus are paid automatically so still hope.

Another phishing scam by Topcashback, they always do this.
I activated by opt-in to the offer, made a purchase, no sign of the £5 and now this after contacting them:
Hi there,
Thanks for getting in touch.
I am unable to see that you have activated the bonus before making your purchase.
Due to this, you will not be eligible for the bonus.
Topcashback are an absolute joke. Don't believe any of there BS when it comes to this, they won't pay out. They have generic replies ready to knock you back, while they line their pockets.

I have never had any email invites from Topcashback regarding their promotions because I am not subscribed to any of their mailing lists. Normally I hear about such promotions from HUKD and other sites, activate them and get a payout without a problem. Until this time. You are fully entitled to the cashback so long as you placed your order

Thanks for your assistance. I will have another attempt at the order later on tonight and see whether it will work. This is the first time i've ordered from AliExpress due to the fact they've never accepted PayPal as a payment option, but there doesn't seem to be anywhere else offering the Axon 7 as this price so it's really too good to miss on this occasion! Saving the card details first might work as you suggested; so i'll be sure to try that and see what happens.
I was left a bit confused at the part where it asks for the cardholder's name, because on most websites it is just a single text field whereas on AliExpress it has two separate fields which say First Name and Last Name. The forename as printed on the debit card is just my title followed by my initials (For example, MR A B SURNAME) so it left me a bit confused as to what to write in the First Name box. I tried all the different possible formats; With and without title, full name or initials, but nothing seemed to work so it's probably an issue with AliExpress rather than me entering the name incorrectly!) Anyway, i'll let you know what happens after trying the order later on this evening!
If you have any doubts about this, then yes, it would be best to delete all your web-browser history (especially cookies), then make a fresh order via TCB, paying at the same time (& later cancel the first, pending order in your AE account).
So, yes, it's always best to start afresh if things like this happen.

The way I see it, if it wasn't valid on your account, you shouldn't have had the option to activate the offer. We were allowed and it appears to have tracked for the vast majority. I can't see any issues, but I've made purchases I'm comfortable with anyway............................. as per normal. You have to be in it to win it and if TCB renege (which I highly doubt), it would cause them far too much bad press, even if not fully justified.

I just attempted to order the phone but encountered a problem whilst making payment on AliExpress. I tried using my VISA debit card and it kept returning a message saying something along the lines of 'The payment system is currently unavailable'. Previously when i've tried to order expensive items off the internet, my bank has sometimes blocked the payment as a security precaution. I contacted them to ask whether this is what was causing the issue, but they confirmed that the payment had not been blocked by them.
Since it appears to be an issue with AliExpress, I will just have to leave it for the moment and try again later, but i'm a bit worried since the order has already gone through and is now showing in my account as 'Awaiting Payment'. If I come back to this later and reload the website by clicking through to it on TopCashback, do you think the cashback will still apply despite the actual order going through separate? Or perhaps it would be a better idea to cancel the order and restart from scratch; but loose a £3 voucher in the process?

The Topcashback rep has been on these threads for the other bonus offers answering questions, but mysteriously absent this time, despite posting on other threads. And there is a get out clause this time in the T&C which I don't recall seeing previous times. Also the reply on Facebook, the rep could have said only those that got the email would get it rather than direct the person to the T&C. He didn't answer yes or no.
Everyone may get the bonus and it's worth trying, but I wouldn't make a purchase solely on the pretence that I was guaranteed the £5 bonus.

Thanks for looking out for me in regards to that. I was aware that this version of the phone didn't support Band 20 but thankfully, it's not something i'm particularly fussed about since I don't use mobile data. I was contemplating getting a cheap data SIM to use whilst out and about, but it doesn't matter since most places have free Wi-Fi nowadays and 3G is always still sufficient just for simple browsing activities.

It's a ZTE Axon 7. I did months of investigation and came to the conclusion it was without doubt the perfect phone for me. They're on AliExpress at the moment for £250, and then with the 7.87% cashback and bonus £5 discount it comes to just £225 which is a great price for such an awesome spec. (SD820, 5.5" 1440p AMOLED, 4GB RAM, Stereo Speakers, 20MP f/1.8, Quick Charge 3.0 and microSD Expansion!)

Yes, as long as the VAT & delivery are included in the total price of £10 or greater. I don't think eBay break-up the VAT value, so just buy items that are greater than £10 in value & offer free deivery. Or, to be on the safest side, make it a £15 order. If you're still not sure, post links to all the items here (if nothing private/dodgy) & we'll let you know (or pm me the links).

Do you have links to when those were? I activated and made a purchase which didn't track, now they're claiming the offer never existed and I couldn't find it via google-fu :disappointed:
I think they're showing, still, in my account as June and July. Hope that helps.

Will it track if I buy Dishonored 2 for a tenner from Ebay shop.to store?

Can people confirm that a £10 ebay purchase will suffice? For ebay sales the VAT is included, right?

It depends. Ebay is ok for private sellers at least. Wilko also pays on the full price, so a £10 spend is fine. Groupon normally tracks at the full price. £12 is a safer bet, unless you have experience of past tracking.

Can someone post the whole direct URL to get to the extra cash offer ? I mean referral on a TCB link is a sure way to get it declined.

My links in the post just above yours are generic - HUKD is changing them: Basically they are as shown in this screenshot:

There's discrimination at work here, LOL.
My offer from TCB is:
8/11/17 at 12:32 PM
£3 Exclusive Cashback Bonus!
Hurry, offer ends on 13th August 2017 at 23:59
Shall I complain to the Equal Opportunities Commission?

I also got the £3 TCB email, but I used this generic link instead to get £5 (hope they honour it!)
To be eligible for the £5 Cashback Bonus promotion, you must be a member of TopCashback.co.uk. Selected members will have received an email to their TopCashback registered email address.

Just now activated this on my account.

I have a feeling this may not work if you didn't get the email, despite the message indicating the promotion's been activated on your TCB account.
However, I do like a TCB punt.

You can submit a missing cashback claim here: topcashback.co.uk/acc…mit
I didn't receive the email, but I activated the offer via the link and bought something off Ebay for £11.99 on 12 August. The £5.00 bonus appeared in my account yesterday.
I don't feel so guilty wasting money on ebay now
Need to click on photo to make it clear
Will there be another bonus for the bank holiday weekend for ALL of us?
You really would be the UK's most generous cashback site then.
Best wishes,
Matt and the whole TopCashback Team.
TopCashback will not be held responsible for any technical failure or otherwise which prevents participation in this promotion.
many emailed them (including me) asking before purchase but they never replied. I asked on twitter and they were replying everything except this question. So they were happy with the extra business. I wouldn't worry about that reply
as bonus are paid automatically so still hope.
No sign of the bonus
and said they were having problems but it appear towards the end of 2 weeks.
nothing here
also big thanks to OP (I don't get email neither)
Normally I hear about such promotions from HUKD and other sites, activate them and get a payout without a problem.
Until this time. Activated, purchase made on Saturday, tracked successfully within a couple of hours but no £5 bonus.
Guess I'll chase it up in a few more days...
There will be a delay with Ebay as per normal.
Thanks op

mycncuk.com/thr…ems - this one suggests to store your card details first, then try to pay
If you have any doubts about this, then yes, it would be best to delete all your web-browser history (especially cookies), then make a fresh order via TCB, paying at the same time (& later cancel the first, pending order in your AE account).
So, yes, it's always best to start afresh if things like this happen.
I'll be 'over-the-moon' when I get 5,000 points back.
I purchased a tool item, so hopefully I'll get most of that back when I sell it on........................... probably via Gumtree. ;-)
Cheaper than hiring. LOL
We were allowed and it appears to have tracked for the vast majority.
I can't see any issues, but I've made purchases I'm comfortable with anyway............................. as per normal.
You have to be in it to win it and if TCB renege (which I highly doubt), it would cause them far too much bad press, even if not fully justified.
so at worse I get the item at half price. But I would prefer free
Everyone may get the bonus and it's worth trying, but I wouldn't make a purchase solely on the pretence that I was guaranteed the £5 bonus.
why so pessimistic?
that would be ideal to use this offer with.
If you have activated a bonus through one of our pages there should be some terms and conditions on that page that you can read through to see if you are eligible for this.
Think a lot of people that didn't get the email but activated the offer are going to be disappointed.
Selected members will have received an email to their TopCashback registered email address.
Thanks
Tracked quickly at £6.30 and £5.
I just need to work out how to spend an e-voucher in a pub. lol

HUKHD and Quidco same owners Pepper Deals Ltd
but could easily reject the offer.
So no one can really answer your question other than the topcashback rep who was on this website yesterday but not posted in this deal thread.
It could go either way.
If you are new, you may see some great new customers offer. I got £12 off from Argos
when I first signed up. And so you can combine with this offer if its available to you.
I bought a big bag of bird seed 12.5kg and 2bags of nonbio washing capsules from wilko.com - already needed so very pleased you posted this.
Still pending for me
I went with Base which was charging £42.75 for Mario Odyssey, I got 2% cashback, bringing it down to £41.89, then £5 back bringing final price to £36.89. Am super happy with that.
6 x 9 pack of toilet rolls is a perfect spend - £12 :raised_hand:

However, the late July one that ended on the 23rd didn't even track in my account. Even though I received an email on the 28th saying it'd update within 14 days, it's day 14 now and the bonus is still nowhere to be seen.
edit, just got it to work , yippe
£2.50 extra cashback on £10+ VAT spend 21st July to 23rd July @ Topcashback (plus £5 flash bonuses)
Ebay is ok for private sellers at least.
Wilko also pays on the full price, so a £10 spend is fine.
Groupon normally tracks at the full price.
