Wow, the wristband must be forged from a nugget of the purest Green if the large size is another £20.

never buy tom tom and expect them to support you when they force an update that screws your device and they leave high and dry.

Whell, everyone is doing that!! Samsung just updated my 3 year old note 4 and screwed it up to a point where i need to look for another device. I think it's to do with economy

I bought this when TomTom glitched the headphones for free a few months back - shouldn’t complain but the sound quality is average at best. Decent price nonetheless for a good watch, just keep your expectations managed....

Other half had it, had to send it back ITS NOT ANDROID COMPATABLE!!!!! Well mostly it isn't Ok so it works up till android 5 but... 6 and above the app is really messed up, it cant sync as it never brings up the box for entering the code during sync. this is widely reported too and been going on for over a year.
I did find a work around but every time you resync you have to reset the watch and it will sync for less than 2 minutes so it was pointless.
ONLY buy this watch for use with iPhones as it works great with them, and if you are an iPhone user this is a great price.
Can't vote on it as its a double edged deal, a great watch hampered by a company who are awful at supporting their software and who have the most atrocious customer support (had to contact them regarding a sat nav I had briefly but luckily it got stolen so we bought a Garmin, lol).

I changed to this from an old Garmin Forerunner 305, as I wanted to stream music without carrying my phone, and it works perfectly with my S8 . It syncs automatically by pressing the down button and I don't remember the set up to be difficult. I also like the recent changes to the app.
Maybe the issues are phone specific rather than just Android incompatible.
If it comes back in stock I'd recommend it as a basic running watch based on my experience, although I do miss being able to race my previous runs like I could on my Garmin.

did you have the runner 2. I have heard of issues with that but the Mrs and I both have the runner 3 and have no problem with using it on Android.

No it was spark 3. same watch, same software, same firmware, same app, just sold as multisport with the only difference being colour scheme, it was the version with cardio and gps, no music.
Its actually the way the app tries to bring up the code box, the app instead brings up the wrong box so you cant pair. its not phone specific as it happens with a lot of phones. Other Bluetooth devices have no problems with the phone. The forums are full of people listing it with many models of phone and generally after they have updated to android 6+
The truly worrying thing is the length of time people have been telling TomTom and they haven't fixed the problem. If they finally have now then that's great but when I was looking the posts went back over a year with the issue.
the work around I tried was to force pair with the device outside the app, like I said it would last 2 mins max before it would disconnect and then not be able to reconnect or sync without a factory reset.
I tried all the suggestions in the forum from other users, looked through all the support stuff, went beyond that too and even tried it on a second phone also using 6 but with a different build.
there were very few android 7 reports of it happening, I put this down to 6 market penetration being higher but maybe the people saying it runs on 7 means its pretty much resolved.
Still, with the problems with that watch and the awful customer service I had with a satnav from them I doubt I will ever buy a TomTom again. the garmin satnav and garmin watch have had no issues. shame the spark 3 didn't work as the watch functions are cleaner in my opinion and the design is better looking.

I have the runner2 and a Nexus 5x with the latest version of Android and the TomTom sports app works brilliantly, syncs runs and QuickGPS data perfectly pretty much every time.

If you want a proper reliable sports watch get a Garmin. Decent product support aswell.

I'm one of the unfortunate ones who haven't found that. Fenix 3, broken after sightly over 12 months, help desk gave copy and paste answers that ignored what I'd said, can't get through on the phones, been advised to send it in for a fixed price repair/replacement (£95), but even when I requested that their system messed up. Was a great device until that point, but I didn't pay the best part of £300 to have it only last a year. The replacement device is only under warranty for 90 days too, so they won't even guarantee it'll work until Christmas.

I have the TomTom Spark Music with heart rate monitor and it has been great. Syncs perfectly with my android phone on Android 7. Really pleased with the watch and has been accurate when running.

Is there a code or something to get it for £66? It is £85.45 when I click the link.

Great watch, so nice being able to run without having to take a phone for music and works fine with my android phone.
Also you can race your runs - just press up on the run screen and select race. It will show you whose in the lead etc. and the distance between your previous run.
