This will probably go cold as it's a retention deal, but just so you know what Three are offering at the moment.
Called to cancel a 1GB data contract and was offered 8GB at no extra cost for £10, this is the essential plan so only comes with EU roaming.
But is a very good price for 8GB data.
Good luck

I got offered this as their last roll of the dice from the team who process the PAC code. But couldn’t resist that BT were offering £90 Amazon gift voucher for a contract similar and only £1 more. Close but no cigar.

lol. He probably haggled harder than the OP. It might have taken time, heart ache, head ache any other ache you can think of, but in the end it paid off.

After being with three for the last 4 years with 2 contracts on my account, I called to cancel today and the only thing I was offered was a £1 discount on my current 4gb unlimited minutes plan. :rage:

Last 10 years and 4 contracts, they didn't even offer anything much better than the ones in the market lol

i'm paying them £12 a month for this exact deal at the moment. wouldn't mind getting it down to a tenner i suppose, although i'd also probably be willing to pay them £15 for 30gb of data as well ..

Try and get the advanced plan, you never know when it might come in handy.

I've got another 6 to 8 weeks before I can start bugging them for retentions so with any luck there'll be an even better offer then

Three are currently offering the 30gb contract for £18 a month on new contracts so getting a reduction on a retention deal should in theory be straightforward

I mentioned getting cash back from TCB which I believe was £75 and pay £20 for the 30gb control and wanted to speak with the cancellation team to get the PAC code. They offered to reduce my contract from £23 to £15 which was unlimited everything except no feel at home.

Most offers are based on your usage. They assume you won't make use of it. I paid extra for 8gb and rarely get over the 4gb I had before for £3 less.

Three have been an absolute nightmare in my experience for the last few years, they use to be one of the best for retentions... I'm out of contract and would sign up for a 12-monther straight away, if I get what I'm after.
I rang the other day and was offered nothing other than new customer offers or an increased bill for less service. I had to explain to the adviser that what they were offering was less than what I'm on currently, for more £££!
Always ready to hear how other have got on though, so feel free to share any tips etc.

I tried to get them to match Sky mobile offer - not a chance....hassle but I think port out to PAYG then back via new offer is the only way to get half decent deal

Excellent deal, I have the £9pm 4GB version and I'd gladly pay an extra £1 for this, 4GB can be tight when not around wifi for a while.
It's a shame their new 'Go Binge' isn't on any of these essential plans. (unlimited Netflix and some other streaming services), otherwise why 4GB would be fine.

I wasn't able to get this - just 12GB of data for £14.

Me too, have 4 SIMO contracts though wouldn't do 12GB for £12. Barely worth the hassle for £24 pa though PAC requested.

I was offered 8Gb for £12, on their website for current customers, there is 12gb for £12 on the Advanced plan three.co.uk/exi…exc

Been on 8GB for £12 for a while though 12GB for £12 will be coming soon with two PAC transfers. It irks me that I 'have' to jump through the hoops as a long term customer though I'm prepared to jump a little.

I got offered this too, was considering the Virgin SIM 4gb at £9p/m before and three's 4GB unlimited essential plan for £9p/m but for a quid extra went with this.

Pretty decent deal. I was trying to push for something like 600 mins and 8GB data on an advanced plan when I got through to retentions lately but they weren't interested.
Switched to Plusnet £10 deal instead, working well so far.

I got offered 4gb 600 minutes advanced plan for £7 per month, and I too have swapped to the £10 plusnet deal 5gb unlimited minutes.

Sigh. I tried to get retention deal. But they were only offering me the same £10 deal they have available for new customers. I don't know how you guys did it. They also offered me unltd mins and text and 8gb data for £12pm. From what you guys are posting, I could get a better deal. Been with them for 7 years. Sigh.
